NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $36,323,400 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-contract (N00019-01-C-0040) to exercise an option for the procurement of 25 Harpoon missiles and related hardware for the government of Egypt under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in St. Charles, Mo. (36%); Dallas, Texas (21.69%); Midcast, United Kingdom (10.21%); Toledo, Ohio (8.59%); Clearwater, Fla. (3.81%); Huntsville, Ala. (3.77%); Kirkwood, Mo. (1.75%); Galena, Kansas (1.69%); Elkton, Md. (1.69%); Middletown, Conn. (1.54%); Minneapolis, Minn. (1.51%); Lititz, Pa. (.99%); Anniston, Ala. (.70%); Pomona, Calif. (.66%); Estill Springs, Tenn. (.65%); Joplin, Mo. (.64%); Valencia, Calif. (.43%); Fairfield, Calif. (.40%); McAlester, Okla. (.35%); Lynwood, Wash. (.34%); Chula Vista, Calif. (.33%); Broomfield, Colo. (.30%); Sharon, Mass. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $14,932,942 modification to a previously awarded advanced acquisition contract (N00019-03-C-6528) for the procurement of long lead parts and materials needed to manufacture eight T-45 training systems. Work will be performed in Warton, Lancashire, England (88%), and St. Louis, Mo. (12%), and is expected to be completed in September 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

VSE Inc., Alexandria, Va., is being awarded a $10,441,112 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for technical services in the performance of facility and equipment explosion decontamination and decontamination certification world-wide. This contract contains four options which, if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value to of this contract to $54,348,222. Work will be performed in Alexandria, Va. (67%); Gaithersburg, Md. (20%); Columbia, Md. (7%), and Ashburn, Va. (6%), and is expected to be completed by May 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $250,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised via the Internet, with three offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-03-D-0022).

Miller/Thompson Constructors*, Richmond, Calif., is being awarded $8,900,000 for firm-fixed-price Task Order 0001 under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract (MACC) for design and construction of an aircraft surveillance radar installation (Phase I) at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms. Work will be performed in Twentynine Palms, Calif., and is expected to be completed by July 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 87 proposals solicited, 17 offers received and award made to multiple contractors on Feb. 26, 2001. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed $150,000,000 (base period and four option years). This task order was non-competitively awarded to a current MACC holder in order to meet the basic contract guarantee amount. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-01-D-6231).

M.A. Mortenson Co., Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded $5,710,000 for firm-fixed-price task order 0003 under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract for repairs, renovations and alterations to the Naval Justice School, Building 360, at Naval Station Newport. Work will be performed in Newport, R.I., and is expected to be completed by June 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website, with 23 offers received and award made on Sept. 18, 2002. The total contract amount is not to exceed $250,000,000. The multiple contractors (five in number) may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing contract. Two offers were received for this task order. The Engineering Field Activity Northeast, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Lester, Pa., is the contracting activity (N62472-02-D-0802).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Theodor Willie Intertrade GmbH (TWI), Bischofsheim, Germany, is being awarded a $22,785,480 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity type of contract for prime vendor food and non-food products for the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy. Work will also be performed in Valdosta, Ga.; Gurzburg, Germany; Petrinia, Croatia; and New Market, United Kingdom. Performance completion date is expected to be June 30, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 500 solicitations, and three responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP300-03-D-2985).

AIR FORCE

Boeing Space and Communications Group, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $8,170,966 cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification to provide for a three-month extension (option 3) of the existing internal upper stage contract for integration and launch support for the Defense Support Program satellite on the Titan IV launch vehicle. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be complete September 2003. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-97-C-0004, P00061).
