ARMY

Textainer Equipment Management (U.S.) Limited, San Francisco, Calif., today was awarded a delivery order amount of $8,756,604 as part of a $186,202,000 fixed-price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity with award term provisions contract for Container Management Services. Work will be performed in Hackensack, N.J., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 23, 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on March 29, 2002, and six bids were received. The U. S. Army Military Traffic Management Command, Alexandria, Va., is the contracting activity (DAMT01-03-D-0173).

Harvey Construction Corp. of New Hampshire, Bedford, N.H., was awarded on June 23, 2003, a $12,129,672 firm-fixed-price contract for construction and maintenance of the U.S. Army Reserve Center Training Complex with an Organizational Maintenance Shop and Unheated Storage Building. Work will be performed in Somersworth, N.H., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 250 bids solicited on April 11, 2003, and six bids were received. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity (DACA27-03-C-0009).

NAVY

BAE Systems, Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Inc., Nashua, N.H., is being awarded a $46,275,000 ceiling-priced contract for the Low Rate Initial Production III procurement of approximately 17 ALQ-214 (V)2 Technique Generators (TGs) for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. As part of the Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures - Radio Frequency Program, the ALQ-214 (V)2 TG is an on-board system capable of selectively generating a wide variety of electronic countermeasure responses and directing those responses in order of priority against individual threat weapon systems. Work will be performed in Clifton, N.J. (95%) and Nashua, N.H. (5%), and is expected to be completed in December 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-03-C-0354).

Hypres Inc.,* Elmsford, N.Y., is being awarded a $7,979,860 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to develop a digital RF receiver unit for Future DoD Wireless Communications Systems and other Critical Defense Applications. This effort is to develop a Digital RF receiver unit as a multi-chip module of superconductor ships in a self-contained subsystem, integrated with a cryocooler and complete with interface circuitry, necessary for insertion into RF systems for future DoD Wireless Communication Systems and other Critical Defense Applications. Work will be performed in Elmsford, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by June 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $7,979,860 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under the Small Business Innovation Research Program solicitation. The Office of Naval Research, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N0014-03-C-0370).

MILCOM Systems Corp., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $7,559,244 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide ship and temporary alteration engineering, installation, maintenance/repair, design, test and evaluation, training, and drafting services supporting various Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance crypto logic, communications and intelligence systems that directly support engineering and technical support services. This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $39,114,978. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C. (51%); Jacksonville, Fla. (14%); Tidewater, Va. (23%); and San Diego, Calif. (12%); and is expected to be completed by June 2008. Contract funds in will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under full and open competition procedures via SPAWAR Systems Center E-Commerce website, with eight offers received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-03-D-7842).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $16,721,122 contract modification to provide all personnel, material and facilities required to incorporate a ninth month launch slip to the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program F-16 schedule and to support all phases of the Miniature Inertial Measurement Unit retrofit onto the DMSP F-17, including development, design, procurement, fabrication, integration, and test. No funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by April 2011. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-02-C-0003, P00015).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Missile & Fire Control, Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded a $12,286,153 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract modification to provide for Autonomous Wide Area Search Monition-Data Link Demonstration. This efforts intends to demonstrate the concept of operation and military utility of an affordable, miniature, powered, semi-autonomous wide area search munitions integrated with a two-way data link to conduct an Human-in-the-Loop scenario against mobile ground targets, suppression of enemy air defenses, and armor. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. At this time, $6,600,260 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be completed by June 2006. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08630-03-D-0103, 00001).
