NAVY

 

            McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $121,700,000 ceiling-priced, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for system development and demonstration and integration of the Hornet Autonomous Real-Time Targeting (HART) system on the F/A-18E/F aircraft.  The HART system will provide precision and real-time targeting capabilities to the F/A-18E/F utilizing seeker-aided Joint Direct Attack Munitions.  Work will be performed in St. Charles, Mo. (67%) and Nashua, N.H. (33%) and is expected to be completed in October 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-03-C-3274).

 

AIR FORCE

 

            Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $32,200,000 cost-plus award-fee contract modification to provide for the production of designs at the Preliminary Design Review level in support of the Counter Surveillance and Reconnaissance System (CSRS).  CSRS will be a mobile system that will deny an enemy use of satellite surveillance and reconnaissance using reversible, non-damaging means.  Each subcontractor listed below will produce CSRS designs.  The subcontractors are BAE Systems, Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Incorporated, 144 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, N.H., 03054 (45%), and Northrop Grumman Space Technology, One Space Park, Redondo Beach, Calif., 90278 (45%).  At this time, $15,000 of the funds has been obligated.  Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.  This work will be complete by October 2004.  Solicitation began August 2003.  The Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-02-C-0001, P00066).

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

            General Electric Aircraft Engines Lynn, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded $8,054,653 firm fixed price type of contract for aircraft parts for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Marine Corps.  Performance completion date is expected to be October 31, 2006.   Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.   There was one proposals solicited and one responded.   The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va. (SP0400-00-D-9403)
