NAVY

 

            Progeny Systems Corporation*, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $34,015,288 cost-plus-fixed-fee/cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for Submarine Non-Propulsion Information Assurance (IA) Engineering Support Services.  Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed by November 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-04-C-6201).

 

            Electric Boat Corporation, Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $5,100,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-01-C-2900) to exercise an option for project management, planning, training, and radiological control services in the accomplishment of nuclear submarine maintenance, modernization and repairs at the Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department, Naval Submarine Base, New London, Conn.  Work will be performed in New London, Conn., and is expected to be completed by January 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.   The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

            Proper International, Inc., Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, is being awarded $27,518,400 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity/delivery type of contract for trousers for the U.S. military services.  Performance completion date is expected to be Oct. 18, 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 35 proposals solicited and nine responded.  The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0100-00-D-0307).

 

            American Apparel, Inc., Selma, Ala., is being awarded $12,165,098 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity/delivery type of contract for trousers for the U.S. military services.  Work will also be performed in North Carolina.  Performance completion date is expected to be Oct. 18, 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 35 proposals solicited and nine responded.  The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0100-00-D-0306).

 

            Buie Forest Products, Incorporated*, Boerne, Texas, is being awarded $8,808,800 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity/delivery type of contract for prime vendor to provide lumber, plywood, wood related products including the machinery and tools used when working with wood for the U.S. military services and federal civilian agencies.  Work will also be performed in California, Georgia, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Washington, and Oregon.  Performance completion date is expected to be Nov. 20, 2005.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was an internet proposal solicitation and seven responded.  The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0500-03-D-BP01).
