NAVY

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $602,594,580 cost-plus-award-fee modification against a previously awarded contract (N00019-02-C-3002) for the procurement of supplies and services to support the performance of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) International Partner Version Delta Systems development and demonstration effort.  Lockheed Martin will design, develop, verify and test a version of the JSF air system that is as common as possible to the U.S. air system within the National Disclosure Policy.  Lockheed Martin will also implement a manned tactical simulation (MTS) capability, hold MTS events for the international partners on the JSF Program and conduct planning for future efforts and upgrades.  Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (83 percent); El Segundo, Calif. (10 percent); and Orlando, Fla. (7 percent), and is expected to be completed by April 2012.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

 

Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $23,000,000 letter contract to perform preventive maintenance, install modification kits, install wing center sections and provide support reports and information (data) for the EA-6B aircraft.  Work will be performed in St. Augustine, Fla., and is expected to be completed in August 2005.  Contract funds in the amount of $1,250,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent, River, Md. is the contracting activity (N00019-04-C-0016).

 

RBC Inc., Alexandria, Va., is being awarded a $14,299,613 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, time-and-materials contract (N00421-00-D-0248) to exercise an option for contractor support services, including technical, engineering, management and financial support services for acquisition and production of the P-3 aircraft for domestic and foreign military sales requirements.  Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in December 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($12,497,863; 87.4 percent) and the governments of Japan ($428,988; 3 percent), Korea ($428,988; 3 percent), Netherlands ($428,988; 3 percent), Thailand ($228,794; 1.6 percent), Australia ($142,996; 1 percent) and Norway ($142,996; 1 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

 

Anteon Corp., Chesapeake, Va., is being awarded an $8,857,715 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing contract for engineering and technical support services for surface ship mine warfare systems.  This contract includes nine additional options which, if exercised, bring the total estimated cumulative value of the contract to $107,473,191.  Work will be performed in the Norfolk/Tidewater area, Va. (65 percent); East and Gulf Coast cities (i.e. Mayport, Fla.; Charleston, S.C.; Ingleside, Texas; and Newport, R.I.) (20 percent); West Coast (i.e. San Diego, Calif.; San Francisco, Calif.; and Bremerton, Wash.) (10 percent); and outside of the continental United States (i.e. Bahrain) (5 percent), and work is expected to be completed by October 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was issued under full and open competition, with one offer received.  The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N00189-04-D-0004).

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Propper International Inc., Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, is being awarded a $6,879,600 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity/delivery contract for woodland camouflage, enhanced hot weather trousers for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps.  Work also will be performed in Cabo Royo, Adjuntas, and Lajas, Puerto Rico.  Performance completion date is expected to be Oct. 18, 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 35 proposals solicited, and nine responded.  The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-00-D-0307).
