AIR FORCE

 

            Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded an $111,567,517 firm fixed price contract.  This contract exercises their option as a separate contract to include 253 advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air-Missiles Air Intercept Missile (AIM)-120 missiles among them 162 USAF, 42 USN, 15 USA, and 334 FMS associated missile warranties, 5 Lots Spares, 28 NDI-AIUs.  Total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete by September 2006.  Eglin Air Force Base is the contracting activity (FA8675-04-C-0061).

 

            Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $81,146,915 firm fixed price contract to provide for Precision Attack Navigation and Targeting for Extended Range Acquisition Pods and associated support for FMS requirements:  22 each for Poland and 7 each for Oman.  At this time, $24,344,07 of the funds has been obligated.  Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.  This work will be complete by May 2005.  Solicitation began November 2003 and negotiations were completed December 2003.  The Headquarters Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, is the contracting activity (FA8522-04-C-0001).

 

            Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Co., King of Prussia, Pa., is being awarded a $21,466,919 fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract modification to provide for CY2004 Launch Operations Support, On-Orbit Operations, support; and satellite storage for the NAVSTAR Global Positioning System Block IIR Program.  The locations of performance are Lockheed Martin, King of Prussia, Pa. (86%), and other locations.  Total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete by December 2004.  The Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-89-C-0073).

 

            Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $10,360,559 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for 8 LITENINING Pods and associated support equipment for use by the Air National Guard.  Total funds have been obligated.  Negotiations were completed December 2003.  The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-98-C-2020, P00047).

 

            Litton Systems, Williamsport, Pa., is being awarded a $5,409,023 firm fixed price contract to provide for Repair of Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System Traveling Wave Tubes, estimated forty-eight.  No funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete by December 2004.  Solicitation began January 2003 and Negotiations were completed September 2003.  The Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42600-03-D-0006, P00001).

 

NAVY

 

            Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $42,082,733 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-4400) for the execution of the USS Seawolf (SSN 21) Selected Restricted Availability (SRA).  Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed in September 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, USN, Groton Conn., is the contracting activity.

 

            Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Integrated Systems Sector, Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $42,478,866 firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of 17 wing center sections for the EA-6B aircraft.  Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y. (83%) and St. Augustine, Fla. (17%), and is expected to be completed in March 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-04-C-0027).

 

            General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $21,453,575 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-99-C-2900) for Consolidated Design Agent, Planning Yard and engineering and technical support for Nuclear Submarines.  This modification provides for support for the material aspects of submarine design agent services for shore facility support.  The effort includes providing material to fabricate and/or procure, assemble, and stage installation materials including Long Lead Time materials, Government Furnished Equipment, and site repair parts.  Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (54%); Kings Bay, Ga. (20%); Bangor, Wash. (18%), Newport, R.I. (4%); and Quonset, R.I. (4%); and is expected to be completed by March 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

            Smiths Aerospace Inc., Electronic Systems – Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids, Mich., is being awarded an estimated value $16,747,286 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of up to 20 Crash Survivable Flight Information Recorders (CSFIRs) and 360 Crash Survivable Memory Units (CSMU), and for the repair of up to 10 CSFIRs and CSMUs.  In addition, the contract provides for product/engineering support for platforms utilizing CSFIR and CSMU hardware, including the C-2A, C-130T, UP/VP-3A, F/A-18C/D, MV-22B, and CV-22 aircraft.  Work will be performed in Grand Rapids, Mich., and is expected to be completed in December 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-04-D-0005).

 

            Honeywell International Inc. – Defense Avionics Systems, Defense & Space Electronic Systems, Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded a $13,392,221 firm-fixed-price contract for the full rate production of 161 Advanced Multi-Purpose Color Displays for the F/A-18C and AV-8B aircraft for the U.S. Navy (121) and the governments of Spain (20) and Italy (20).  Work will be performed in Albuquerque, N.M., and is expected to be completed in March 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured under an electronic request for proposals, with two offers received.  This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($10,178,087; 76%) and the governments of Spain ($1,613,100; 12%); and Italy ($1,613,100; 12%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-04-C-0018).

 

            Lockheed Martin Corp., Naval Electronics & Surveillance System-Syracuse, Syracuse, N.Y., is being awarded a $10,054,943 modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-6313) to exercise options for an AN/SQQ-89 (V) 15 Forward Fit Ship System and associated installation material.  The AN/SQQ-89 (V) Surface Ship Undersea Warfare Combat System provides an integrated capability for undersea warfare combat management, fire control, command and control, and in-board-training to enable surface ships to detect, classify, localize, track and engage hostile Undersea Warfare targets in both littoral and open ocean tactical.  Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y. (50%) and Americus, Ga. (50%), and is expected to be completed by June 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year.  This contract supports the Government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales Program.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

            T. B. Penick & Sons Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded $6,937,265 for firm-fixed-price Delivery Order 0001 under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract  (N68711-02-D-8067) for design and construction of an operational trainer facility at Naval Air Station, Lemoore.  Work will be performed in Lemoore, Calif., and is expected to be completed by April 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The basic contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website with 20 offers received and award made on July 12, 2002.  The total contract amount for each contractor is not to exceed $150,000,000 (base period and four option years) bringing the cumulative total for all six contracts to $900,000,000.  The multiple contractors (six in number) may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing contract.  Two proposals were received for this task order.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.

 

            Pioneer Contracting Co., Ltd.*, Wahiawa, Hawaii, is being awarded $5,283,000 for firm-fixed price Task Order #0001 under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract for explosive safety improvements at Naval Magazine, West Loch, Pearl Harbor.  Work will be performed in West Loch, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by January 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The basic contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website with 17 offers received and award made on July 30, 2002.  The total contract amount is not to exceed $60,000,000, which includes the base period and four option years.  The multiple contractors (four in number) may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing contract.  Four proposals were received for this task order.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-01-D-1345).

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

            Ameriqual Group, LLC*, Evansville, Ind., is being awarded $80,730,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment and indefinite quantity delivery type of contract for ready-to-eat meals (MRE) and humanitarian daily ration (HDR) for the U.S. military services.  This contract is exercising its first year option maximum.  Performance completion date is expected to be December 31, 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were three proposal solicitations and three responded.  The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0300-03-D-Z106)

 

            The Wornick Co.*, McAllen, Texas, is being awarded $79,443,750 fixed price with economic price adjustment and indefinite quantity delivery type of contract for ready-to-eat meals (MRE) and humanitarian daily ration (HDR) for the U.S. military services.  This contract is exercising its first year option maximum.  Performance completion date is expected to be December 31, 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were three proposal solicitations and three responded.  The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0300-03-D-Z107)

 

            SOPAKCO Packaging, Mullins, S.C., is being awarded $61,565,625 fixed price with economic price adjustment and indefinite quantity delivery type of contract for ready-to-eat meals (MRE) and humanitarian daily ration (HDR) for the U.S. military services.  This contract is exercising its first year option maximum.  Performance completion date is expected to be December 31, 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were three proposal solicitations and three responded.  The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0300-03-D-Z108)

 

            ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded $24,314,094 fixed price with economic price adjustment for fuel for Foreign Military Sale (Israel).  Work will also be performed in Baytown, Texas.  Performance completion date is expected to be March 1, 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 9 proposals solicitation and five responded.  The contracting activity is Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va.  (SP0600-04-D-0452).

 

            Burlington Apparel Fabrics, Greensboro, N.C., is being awarded $12,350,540 firm fixed price type of contract for for polyester-wool serge cloth for the U.S. Army.  Work will also be performed in N.C., Va., and Pa.  Performance completion date is expected to be June 2005.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 65 proposal solicitations and two responded.  The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0100-01-C-0311)

 

            ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded $11,498,040 fixed price with economic price adjustment type of contract for fuel for the U.S. Navy.  Work will also be performed in Okinawa.  Performance completion date is expected to be January 30, 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 19 proposals solicited and 13 responded.  The contracting activity is Defense Energy Support Center, Ft. Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-04-D-0458).
