CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

The Boeing Co., St Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $24,443,000 firm fixed price contract. This is a Low Rate Initial Production 4 (LRIP 4) buy from Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing Systems for 100 Electronic Units-21 Configuration; Display Units; Cockpit Units, and Helmet/With Upper Helmet Vehicle Interface for the F-15 (12 Units), F-16 (66 Units) and F/A-18 (22 Units), quantity one (1) Mapped for the F/A-18 Royal Australian Air Force (1 Unit) plus platform peculiar Engineering Support; Common Engineering Support; and Proposal Preparation. This effort supports foreign military sales for the Royal Australian Air Force. At this time $6,700,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be completed July 2005. Solicitations began in June 2002 and negotiations were completed in July 2003. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-D-0026, Delivery Order 0018).

ARMY

R.C. Construction Co. Inc., Greenwood, Miss., is being awarded a $22,790,700 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of Upgrade Saber Hill Complex. Work will be performed in Fort Stewart, Ga., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 1, 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 250 bids solicited on April 21, 2003, and 5 bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Savannah, Ga., is the contracting activity (DACA21-03-C-0014).

Alutiiq Security and Technology, Chesapeake, Va., is being awarded a $19,000,000 fixed-price-plus award fee/ indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for security guards. Work will be performed in Fort Bragg, N.C., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 22, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one bid solicited on June 20, 2003, and one bid was received. The Northern Region Contracting Center, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity (DABJ01-03-D-0014).

Honeywell International Incorporated, Tempe, Ariz., is being awarded a $12,889,894 firm-fixed-price contract for 1884 each turbine nozzles for the AGT 1500 Abrams Tank Engine. Work will be performed Greer, S.C., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via World Wide Web on Jan. 13, 2003, and two bids were received. The TACOM-Warren, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity, (DAAE07-03-C-N142).

General Dynamics Land Systems Muskegon, Muskegon, Mich. is being awarded a modification to a $11,248,200 firm-fixed-price contract (DAAE07-03-D-N083) for a diesel cylinder head with M88A1 application. Work will be performed in Muskegon, Mich., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Aug. 20, 2002, and one bid was received. The TACOM-Warren, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

AM General Corp., South Bend, Ind., is being awarded a $6,520,488 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract (DAAE07-01-C-S001), for 82 M1114 Chassis. Work will be performed in South Bend, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one bid solicited on July 17, 2000, and one bid was received. The TACOM-Warren, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Crane Co. (Lear Romee Division), Elyria, Ohio, is being awarded $5,477,027 firm fixed price type of contract for aircraft spare parts for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. Performance completion date is July 2004. Contract funds will expire this fiscal year. There were two solicitations and one responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Columbus, Columbus, Ohio. (SP0760-03-D-9744)

ONEOK Energy Marketing Company, Topeka, Kan., was awarded a $5,114,993 fixed-price with economic price adjustment for natural gas for the U.S. Army.  Work will also be performed in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.  Performance completion date is Sept. 30, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year.  The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-03-D-7811).
