DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Graybar Electric Company, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded $74,000,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment and indefinite-quantity type of contract for prime vendor contract for maintenance, repair and operations supplies and related services for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. Performance completion date is expected to be May 18, 2006. Contract funds will expire this fiscal year. This was a web solicitation and seven responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0500-04-D-BP07).

Procurenet, Inc.*, Fairfield, N.J., is being awarded $27,000,000 firm-fixed-price with economic price adjustment and indefinite delivery/quantity type of contract for prime vendor contract for maintenance, repair and operations supplies and related services for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. Performance completion date is expected to be May 18, 2006. Contract funds will expire this fiscal year. This was a web solicitation and seven responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0500-04-D-BP08).

ARMY

Alliant Techsystems Inc., Plymouth, Minn., was awarded on Feb. 17, 2004, a $66,732,417 firm-fixed-price contract for 35,150 M831A1 target practice - tracer 120mm cartridges and 76,650 M865 target practice cone stabilized discarding sabot tracer 120mm cartridges. Work will be performed in Middletown, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Nov. 20, 2003, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-04-C-0031).

General Dynamics Ordnance & Tactical Systems, St. Petersburg, Fla., was awarded on Feb. 17, 2004, a $65,932,240 firm-fixed-price contract for 35,150 M831A1 target practice - tracer 120mm cartridges and 76,650 M865 target practice cone 120mm cartridges. Work will be performed in Middletown, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by Sep. 30, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Computer Systems Center Inc.*, Springfield, Va., was awarded on Feb. 13, 2004, an $8,749,918 increment as part of a $13,281,518 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for an information on demand special access program network feasibility study. Work will be performed in Springfield, Va. (87%), Melbourne, Australia (5%), Reston, Va. (4%), Islandia, N.Y. (.5%), Gaithersburg, Md. (2%), and Manassas, Va. (1.5%), and is expected to be completed by March 8, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Nov. 4, 2002, and 104 bids were received. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (HR0011-04-C-0047).

Record Steel and Construction Inc.*, Meridian, Idaho, was awarded on Feb. 12, 2004, a delivery order amount of $5,542,194 as part of a $5,975,261 firm-fixed-price contract for addition and alteration to the fitness center. Work will be performed at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 20, 2003. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Seattle, Wash., is the contracting activity (DACA67-00-D-0202).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Forth Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $14,339,010 ceiling-priced cost reimbursable delivery order against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00019-02-G-3104) to conduct the F-35 alternate helmet mounted display system integration study and design activity for the Joint Strike Fighter program office on behalf of the United Kingdom under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in March 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal years. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Detyens Shipyards, North Charleston, S.C., is being awarded a $10,505,302 firm-fixed-price contract for a 90-day regular overhaul and drydocking of fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE 8). The critical drydock work includes overhaul of the rudders and repairs to the main propulsion shafting. The critical topside work includes modification of the cargo fuel oil and jet fuel overflows. This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $13,090,471. Work will be performed in North Charleston, S.C., and is expected to be completed by June 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured, with five proposals solicited and three offers received. The U.S. Navys Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62381-04-C-2002).
