Shell Oil Products U.S., Houston, Texas, is being awarded a $757,888,204 fixed-price with economic price adjustment type contract for fuel for the Defense Energy Support Center. AIR FORCE

Northrop-Grumman Mission Systems, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded a $72,698,968 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification to provide upgrade in replacing the existing secure data units (known as the KI-22) with modern technology and components. The replacement secure data unit is known as the KS-60 and will perform encryption and decryption functions to support National Security Agency supplied algorithms. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems will perform this effort at the Boeing Co., Anaheim, Calif. At this time, $9,924,403 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete by September 2007. Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-98-C-0001).

NAVY

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Ryan Aeronautical Center, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $49,000,000 ceiling-priced undefinitized modification to a previously awarded cost share contract (N00019-00-C-0277) for the continued development and testing of the Fire Scout Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) System, including the procurement of two engineering and manufacturing, development RQ-8B Fire Scout UAVs. At this time, no funds have been obligated. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (85 percent), and Elmira, N.Y. (15 percent), and is expected to be completed in October 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin, Management and Data Systems, Philadelphia, Pa., is being awarded a $5,360,000 ceiling amount modification against a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00019-99-C-0027) for the procurement of three Tomahawk communication system kits to modify the United Kingdoms Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System under the Foreign Military Sales Program. This modification also includes the required integration, testing, installation and training and associated spares. Work will be performed in Barrow, United Kingdom, (50 percent); Manassas, Va. (35 percent); Valley Forge, Pa., (12 percent); and Cherry Hill, N.J., (3 percent), and is expected to be completed in March 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal years. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

CACI Inc., Chantilly, Va., was awarded on Feb. 26, 2004, a $10,118,040 firm-fixed-price contract for 24 contract specialists to work in Iraq. Work will be performed in Baghdad, Iraq, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were seven bids solicited on Jan. 15, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (W91QV1-04-F-0077).

Enola Contracting Services Inc./Caddell Construction Co. (Joint Venture)*, Chipley, Fla., was awarded on Feb. 27, 2004, a $9,650,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of two dormitories. Work will be performed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., and is expected to be completed by April 1, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 250 bids solicited on Dec. 15, 2003, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Savannah, Ga., is the contracting activity (W912HN-04-C-0011).


Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded on Feb. 27, 2004, a $7,384,153 firm-fixed-price contract for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System/M270A1 life cycle contractor logistical support. Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on April 7, 2003. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-04-C-0076).
