CONTRACTS

NAVY

ORI Services Corp.*, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $102,895,549 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing arrangement for technical support services at the Naval C4I Restoration and Repair Depot. Support will include manufacturing, restoration, repair, overhaul, installation and calibration of ground, ship and airborne command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) equipment. Other services will include performing automatic test equipment and technical performance standards development and upgrades. This five-year contract includes eight six-month award term incentives that, if awarded, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $198,690,533. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., (90 percent) and at ship and shore installations worldwide (10 percent) and is expected to be completed by March 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center e-commerce central Web site, with proposals limited to Small Business Association 8(a) program firms. One offer was received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-04-D-5025).

Maden Technologies, Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $5,767,247 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for scientific, engineering and technical assistance support services in support of the Security and Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and other similar government agencies. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by March 2009. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Internet, with three offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-04-C-0024).

AIR FORCE

Radian Inc., Alexandria, Va., is being awarded a $37,097,811 contract modification to provide for various hardware components of the Deployable Power Generator Distribution System. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete April 2005. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-02-C-0046 P00033).

Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $5,903,674 contract modification to exercise option of 10 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile Air Intercept Missile-120 C7 missiles and associated missile non-development item airborne instrumentation units for the U.S. Navy. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete September 2006. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA8675-04-C-0061, P00004).

ARMY

ASRC Airfield and Range Services Inc.*, Greenbelt, Md., was awarded on March 10, 2004, a $19,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for management, planning, execution, communication, interpreter/translation, integration, enrollment and training to teach basic security, patrolling and weaponry skills to high- and mid-level officers and facility and patrol guards. Work will be performed in Baghdad, Iraq, and is expected to be completed by March 9, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on Feb. 13, 2004. The Northern Region Contracting Center, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity (W911S0-04-C-0002).

Elmco Inc.*, Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on March 10, 2004, a $2,715,427 increment as part of a $28,736,014 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for design, development, integration, test and utilization of a family of systems simulation capability. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by March 10, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 26, 1999, and eight bids were received. The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (DASG60-00-C-0059).

Silver Eagle Manufacturing Co.*, Portland, Ore., was awarded on March 9, 2004, a delivery order amount of $4,649,697 as part of an $80,252,487 firm-fixed-price contract for the M1101 and M1102 cargo trailers and the family of light tactical trailers heavy chassis. Work will be performed in Portland, Ore., and is expected to be completed by March 12, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Oct. 8, 2003, and nine bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-D-0093).

Radian Inc., Alexandria, Va., was awarded on March 9, 2004, a $7,504,729 firm-fixed-price contract for 501 long lead items for 501 crew protection kits for the family of medium tactical vehicles. Work will be performed in Alexandria, Va., and is expected to be completed by March 7, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on March 5, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-C-0321).
