DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY

Washington Beef, L.L.C., was awarded a $32,784,453 requirements type contract on Aug. 11, 2004, to provide fresh beef and pork for various commissaries located in Japan and Okinawa. Work will be performed at Toppenish, Wash. with deliveries of beef and pork products to various commissaries located in DeCAs Far East Region with a contract completion date of July 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Twenty-four firms were solicited and four offers were received. The contracting activity is the Defense Commissary Agency, Resale Contracting Division, 1300 E Avenue, Fort Lee, Va. 23801-1800. (HDEC02-04-D-0027)

Tyson Fresh Meats Inc., was awarded a $25,003,658 requirements type contract on Aug. 11, 2004, to provide fresh beef and pork products for various commissaries located in Guam and South Korea. Work will be performed at various locations throughout the United States with deliveries of beef and pork products to various commissaries located in DeCAs Far East Region with a contract completion date of July 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Twenty-four firms were solicited and four offers were received. The contracting activity is the Defense Commissary Agency, Resale Contracting Division, 1300 E Avenue, Fort Lee, Va. 23801-1800. (HDEC02-04-D-0026)

NAVY

Raytheon Co., Integrated Defense Systems, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded an $18,545,866 fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-4031) for the procurement of the Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) Subsystem for integration into the Integrated Electronics Suite (IES) for the Italian Navys Multi-Purpose Vessel. The IES is currently composed of communications and intelligence systems, including Ship Wide Area Network, Communication Intelligence, Data Display and Decision Intelligence, Communications Systems, Small Ship Electronic Warfare Support Measures System, and related technical support, training and documentation. The ELINT subsystem will be procured, installed, tested and integrated within the IES. Work will be performed in Concord, Calif. (57.6 percent); Portsmouth, R.I. (38.9 percent); Salt Lake City, Utah (2.1 percent); and Annapolis Junction, Md. (1.4 percent); and is expected to be completed in July 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification supports the Government of Italy under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, (CSDL), Cambridge, Mass., is being awarded a $9,016,399 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract to provide for the establishment and qualification of the TRIDENT II (D5) missile guidance subsystem Integrated Support Facility (ISF). The contractor will be required to establish and qualify and ISF for the repair and refurbishment of TRIDENT II (D5) guidance systems. The contractor will perform required structural or layout changes; establish environmental controls; set up clean room areas, and install all required government tooling and test equipment. The contractor also will be required to perform the qualification tests of the ISF to perform future guidance system repairs. This contract contains an option, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $25,085,482. Work will be performed in Cambridge, Mass., and is expected to be completed by December 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-04-C-0035).

AIR FORCE

Composite Engineering, Sacramento, Calif., is being awarded a $8,703,409 firm fixed price with time and material contract modification to provide for Air Force Subscale Aerial Target (AFSAT), Exercises of LRIP Option for Lot 1 (10 AFSATs), First Article Acceptance Testing, and Target Test Set. This effort supports foreign military sales to German Air Force replacement in-kind of one Subscale target. No funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by January 2006. The Headquarters Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-02-C-0005, P00009).
