CONTRACTS

ARMY

Engineering-Environmental Management Inc.*, Littleton, Colo., was awarded on Aug. 20, 2004, a delivery order amount of $598,000,000 as part of a $598,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for natural and cultural resources and conservation program support services. Performance location will be determined with each delivery order, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2014. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 504 bids solicited on Jan. 14, 2000, and four bids were received. The National Guard Bureau, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (W9133N-04-D-0005).

Grove U.S. L.L.C., Shady Grove, Pa., was awarded on Aug. 19, 2004, a delivery order amount of $20,373,275 as part of a $20,373,275 firm-fixed-price contract for 50 8x4 truck cranes and nine manuals. Work will be performed in Shady Grove, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on May 3, 2004, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-D-B016).

Garco Construction, Spokane, Wash., was awarded on Aug. 20, 2004, an $8,288,800 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of two 80,000 barrels JP-8 Bulk Fuel Tanks. Work will be performed at McChord Air Force Base, Wash., and is expected to be completed by March 1, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on June 16, 2004, and seven bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle, Wash., is the contracting activity (W912DW-04-C-0014).

Electronic Data Systems Inc., Herndon, Va., was awarded on Aug. 19, 2004, a $7,228,350 modification to a fixed-price-incentive with award-fee contract to provide for additional Pentagon sites on the metropolitan and wide area networks. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 8, 2002. The Pentagon Renovation and Construction Program Office, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (MDA947-93-C-0006).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

TMV L.L.C. D/B/A Triune Associates*, (small disadvantaged business), Dallas, Texas, is being awarded a $6,232,723 fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract for gasoline, diesel fuel and burner oil for the Army and federal civilian agencies. Work will also be performed in various locations throughout Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Performance completion date is expected to be May 31, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 570 proposals solicited and 42 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-04-D-4538)

NAVY

System Integration and Management*, Arlington, Va., is being awarded $50,000 as part of a $65,294,733 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with fixed-price-award fee and cost-plus-award fee line items for business, operations and administrative support services at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command Information Technology Center, New Orleans, La. This contract includes a base year and four one-year options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $65,294,733. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by August 2005. If all options are exercised work will continue through August 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured as an 8(a) set-aside under the auspices of the Small Business Administration via the SPAWAR E-commerce and FedBizOps websites, with 15 offers received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00039-04-D-2021).
