NAVY

Raytheon Co., Electronics Systems, Goleta, Calif., is being awarded a $43,254,508 firm fixed priced contract for the sixth full-rate-production of 30 AN/ALR-67(V)3 Radar Warning Receivers for the F/A-18E/F and five spares for the Navy inventory. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif. (39 percent); Forest, Miss. (27 percent); Goleta, Calif. (16 percent); Lansdale, Pa. (10 percent); Portland, Ore. (5 percent), and McKinney, Texas (3 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-04-C-0123).

ManTech Systems Engineering Corp., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $20,503,119 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost plus fixed fee contract for engineering and technical services in support of submarine and surface ship acoustical trials. The contractor will perform services in the following task areas: (1) radiated-noise measurements, analysis and reporting, (2) submarine detection and detectability (D&D) studies, (3) submarine and surface ship noise source localization and analysis, (4) oceanographic research vessel/hydrographic survey vessel support, (5) submarine and surface ship silencing effectiveness, (6) transient noise studies, (7) own ship noise monitoring, (8) submarine Vibration Monitoring Program (VMP) and Fleet Maintenance Activity (FMA) data analysis and studies, (9) acoustic trial direction support, (10) low frequency submarine target strength studies and analyses, (11) submarine silencing development and design studies, (12) acoustic measurement and data acquisition system development, (13) database management system development and maintenance, and (14) program management support. Work will be performed at contractors sites in Bethesda, Md. (40 percent) and Panama City Beach, Fla. (20 percent), at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md. (20 percent), and at-sea, aboard U.S. Navy ships (20 percent). Work is expected to be completed by September 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured via FedBizOpps (solicitation N00167-03-R-0066) with one offer received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-04-D-0022).

BAE SYSTEMS Applied Technologies Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $15,576,344 modification to a previously awarded cost plus fixed fee contract (N00421-02-C-3058) to exercise an option for the procurement of an estimated quantity of 270,000 hours of Engineering and Technical Services to support Navy/Joint/National Agency C4I Communication-Electronic Equipment and Systems. Support includes design, development, integration, installation, test and evaluation, installation, fielding, certification, maintenance, and logistics. The Systems include Shipboard (interior and exterior Communication Systems), Shipboard Radio Communication Systems (RCS), Airborne Communication Systems, and Shorebased (fixed, transportable and ground mobile) Systems. Sponsors for which support services may be required include Naval Special Warfare Programs, Navy and Joint C2/C3/C3I/C4I/C4ISR Programs, Special Operations Forces Programs, Navy/SOF Aviation Programs, Counter Narcotics Programs, Navy/SOF Ship, Shore, and Combat Programs, U. S. Marine Corps, U. S. Coast Guard, U. S Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), U. S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), U. S. Joint Forces Command, and U. S. Customs Service. Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md., and is expected to be completed in August 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems, Goleta, Calif., is being awarded a $6,086,724 cost plus fixed fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide engineering technical services in support of the development and production of advanced electronic warfare systems to include the AN/ALR-67(V)3 and AN/ALE-50A. Services include engineering support and products for software and systems engineering, software configuration management, operational flight program, user data file, and other software configuration item development and testing. Work will be performed in Goleta, Calif. (80 percent), China Lake, Calif. (10 percent), and Pt. Mugu, Calif. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command Weapons Division, Pt. Mugu, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-04-D-0005).

AIR FORCE

MCCrone Associates Inc., Westmont, Ill., is being awarded a $5,079,120 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification. This action provides for non-personal services to process and analyze particle samples for the purpose of nuclear test ban treaty verification for the Air Force Technical Applications Center nuclear directorate. The contract will support the United States Atomic Energy Detection System. The acquisition will provide technical expertise in particle analysis and operational analytical techniques. This action is a modification exercising the prepriced option for continued performance from Oct. 1, 2004 through Sept. 30, 2005. At this time, $4,107,000 has been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2005. Department of the Air Force, Space Wing, Patrick Air Force Base, FL, is the contracting activity (F08650-98-C-0036 P00051).
