ARMY

Dimensions International Inc., Alexandria, Va., was awarded on Nov. 8, 2004, a delivery order amount of $12,164,983 as part of a $12,164,983 time and materials contract for Armor Installation for the Medium Tactical Vehicles. Work will be performed at Iraq, and is expected to be completed by June 8, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were six bids solicited on Oct. 15, 2004, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-98-D-T061).

VSE Corp., Alexandria, Va., was awarded on Nov. 5, 2004, an $11,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the application of a Fuel Tank Self-Sealing System and necessary Add-on Armor Panels for the M969 Fuel Dispensing Tankers. Work will be performed in Alexandria, Va., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 4, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-05-C-0062).

AM General L.L.C., Mishawaka, Ind., was awarded on Nov. 8, 2004, a delivery order amount of $1,496,873 as part of a $7,982,310 firm-fixed-price contract for Turbo Superchargers for the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles. Work will be performed in Mishawaka, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 15, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Aug. 16, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-05-D-0009).
