ARMY

AM General L.L.C., South Bend, Ind., was awarded on Nov. 10, 2004, a $163,370,186 modification to a firm fixed price contract for procurement of 2,074 1151 and 1152 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles. Work will be performed at South Bend, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 17, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-S001).

Electronic Data Systems, Herndon, Va., was awarded on Nov. 9, 2004, a $29,390,509 modification to a fixed price incentive with award fee contract for the Command Communications Survivability Program Systems Integration Contract. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 11, 2002, and two bids were received. The Pentagon Renovation Office, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (MDA947-03-C-0006).

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., was awarded on Nov. 9, 2004, a $17,174,606 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for two UH-60L Black Hawk Aircraft. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 4, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0006).

General Dynamics C4 Systems, Taunton, Mass., was awarded on Nov. 10, 2004, a $14,987,144 increment as part of a $112,579,352 cost plus fixed fee, cost plus award fee, and time and materials contract for development of an initial architecture for the Warfighter Information Network Tactical Communication System. Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass. (75 percent) and Gaithersburg, Md. (25 percent), and is expected to be completed by Jan. 9, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on April 8, 2002, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communication-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-02-C-F404).

OGara-Hess & Eisenhardt, Fairfield, Ohio, was awarded on Nov. 10, 2004, a delivery order amount of $11,019,450 as part of an $11,019,450 firm fixed price contract for ballist glass for the Up-Armor High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle. Work will be performed in Fairfield, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 8, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on April 30, 2004, and one bid was received. Alliant Lake City Small Caliber Ammunition Company L.L.C., Independence, Mo., was awarded on Nov. 9, 2004, a delivery order amount of $7,718,439 as part of a $49,640,820 firm fixed price contract for services to modernize 5.56MM Scamp Equipment, Caliber .50 Modernization Initiatives, and overall Lake City Army Ammunition Plant Modernization and Capacity Increase. Work will be performed in Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 8, 2004. The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-D-0016).

Genesys Ltd.*, Langhorne, Pa., was awarded on Nov. 8, 2004, a delivery order amount of $6,504,380 as part of a $19,845,470 firm fixed price contract for 60 Cesspit Jetting Trucks. Work will be performed in Southampton, England, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 8, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 11, 2004, and four bids were received. General Dynamics Government Systems Corp, Taunton, Mass., was awarded on Nov. 9, 2004, a $5,680,372 modification to a firm fixed price contract for Common Hardware/Software Items for the Project Manager, Tactical Command and Control Systems Computers and associated peripherals for battlefield commanders. Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass., and is expected to be completed by April 10, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 50 bids solicited on April 21, 1994, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communication-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-02-C-E801).
