CONTRACTS

NAVY

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $63,250,000 modification to a previously awarded firm fixed priced contract (N00019-01-C-0071) for the procurement of one C-40A aircraft. Work will be performed in Seattle, Wash. (90 percent) and Wichita, Kan. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in May 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $6,000,000 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-5421) to procure technical support for the production of the Evolved SEASPARROW Missiles (ESSM) and the MK783 MOD 0 missile shipping container, including design agent tasks for the ESSM and associated test and handling equipment supporting production. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (38 percent); Minneapolis, Minn. (1 percent); Camden, Ark. (5 percent); Rocket Center, W. Va. (8 percent); Australia (8 percent); Canada (7 percent); Denmark (1 percent); Greece (1 percent); Germany (13 percent); The Netherlands (6 percent); Norway (6 percent); Spain (4 percent); and Turkey (2 percent), and is expected to be completed by October 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Napco International L.L.C.*, Hopkins, Minn., was awarded on Dec. 3, 2004, a delivery order amount of $543,774 as part of a $6,981,534 firm fixed price contract for Final Drive Assemblies for the M113 Vehicles. Work will be performed in Waite Park, Minn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 2, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Nov. 4, 2003, and 12 bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-05-D-0048).

Kidde Technologies Inc./Kidde Dual Spectrum, Goleta, Calif., was awarded on Dec. 3, 2004, a delivery order amount of $498,254 as part of a $5,124,902 firm fixed price contract for 420 Fire Extinguishers. Work will be performed in Goleta, Calif., and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Jan. 2, 2004, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-D-0192).

Napco International L.L.C.*, Hopkins, Minn., was awarded on Dec. 3, 2004, a delivery order amount of $457,380 as part of a $12,462,949 firm fixed price contract for 231 Track Mod Kits for the M113 Vehicles. Work will be performed in Hopkins, Minn., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one bid solicited on April 15, 2004, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-D-0325).

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

Dynamics Research Corp., Andover, Mass., is being awarded a cost plus fixed fee contract to engage a diverse set of Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS) customers to develop and utilize a unique transformation process to eliminate waste and facilitate enterprise-wide performance improvements across the entities that make up the BMDS supply chain. The total 42-month contract has a ceiling amount of $25,000,000. The principal place of performance will be Johnstown, Pa., and is expected to be completed January 2008. Research and development funds have been provided for this contract. The Missile Defense Agency is the contracting activity (HQ0006-05-C-0001).

AIR FORCE

Russian and East European Partnership (REEP), Fineview, N.Y., is being awarded a $10,700,000 time and materials, with firm fixed price and cost reimbursement line items contract to provide for up to 75 bilingual, bicultural advisors through 3 December 2005 in support of the Multi National Forces-Iraq Civil Affairs Command. The locations of performance are REEP, Fayetteville, N.C., and various locations in Iraq. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by December 2005. Negotiations were completed December 04. The 11th Contracting Squadron, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington D.C., is the contracting activity FA7012-05-C-0003).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Campbellsville Apparel Co., LLC*, Campbellsville, Ky., is being awarded a maximum $9,967,200 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for undershirts for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps. Work will be performed in Bowling Green, Ky. This contract is the third option year of a 4-year term. Performance completion date is expected to be December 5, 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 82 proposals solicited and 15 responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity. (SP0100-02-D-0327)
