NAVY

Thomas Associates Inc., Stevensville, Md., is being awarded an estimated $29,855,248 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Damage Control program, engineering, logistics, and technical support for U.S. Navy ships. This contract supports a variety of shipboard damage control initiatives aboard U.S Navy ships. Programs such as the Damage Control Training Management System provides real-time, dynamic ship status and parametric information to Damage Control Training Teams, and accepts feedback on actions taken by team watch standers. Work will be performed in Stevensville, Md. (85 percent); Norfolk, Va. (10 percent); and Panama City, Fla. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by May 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Internet, with one offer received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, Fla., is the contracting activity. (N61331-05-D-0025).

ARMY

Alliant Lake City Small Caliber Ammunition Co. L.L.C., Independence, Mo., was awarded on April 29, 2005, a delivery order amount of $19,394,762 as part of a $395,901,889 firm-fixed-price contract for Economic Price Adjustments for Copper on the Caliber .22, .30, .45, .50, 5.56mm, and 7.62mm Small Caliber Ammunition Cartridges. Work will be performed in Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 5, 2004. The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-D-0016).

Raytheon Electronic Systems, El Segundo, Calif., was awarded on April 29, 2005, a $15,031,035 firm-fixed-price contract for the Trans Panel Assembly for the Bradley Missile Weapon System. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on May 15, 2003. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-05-C-0078).

United Defense L.P., Santa Clara, Calif., was awarded on April 29, 2005, an $8,000,000 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Systems Technical Support and Logistics Services for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and Multiple Launch Rocket Systems. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 26, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 28, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-M011).

CyTerra Corp., Waltham, Mass., was awarded on May 2, 2005, a $5,786,287 increment as part of a $23,436,637 firm-fixed-price contract for the AN/PSS-14 Dual Sensor Mine Detector. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on April 7, 2005. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Alexandria, Va., is the contracting activity (DAAB15-03-C-0025).

MAC International*, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was awarded on May 2, 2005, a delivery order amount of $2,998,527 as part of a $5,996,679 firm-fixed-price contract for the Utility Truck. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Md., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 1, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Dec. 20, 2004, and ten bids were received. Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., was awarded on May 2, 2005, a delivery order amount of $2,262,893 as part of a $27,398,400 firm-fixed-price contract for the Engines and Containers for the Heavy Equipment Transporter System. Work will be performed in Springfield, Ohio (13 percent), Detroit, Mich. (74.5 percent), and Oshkosh, Wis. (12.5 percent), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 29, 2004, and one bid was received. Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio, was awarded on May 2, 2005, a delivery order amount of $544,782 as part of a $23,934,314 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to Provide Improved Medical Countermeasure. Work will be performed in Columbus, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by May 1, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Nov. 1, 2004, and one bid was received.
