NAVY

General Electric Transportation Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $33,918,975 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for 36 line items used on a variety of aircraft engines for the CH-46D, H-3, CH-46E, F/A-18, H-1, H-60, H-53, S-3, and A-10 aircraft. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $62,100,000. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed December 2007. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity (N00383-05-D-006M).

Progeny Systems*, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $5,895,091 cost-plus-award-fee contract for engineering services for the development of technology associated with an expendable array installation vehicle for Maritime Surveillance Systems. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (99 percent) and Alameda, Calif., (1 percent) and is expected to be completed by May 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is a Small Business Innovative Research Phase 3 follow-on and was not competitively procured. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00039-05-C-0011).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Esso Standard Oil, Co. (PR), San Juan, Puerto Rico, is being awarded a minimum $10,526,147 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for Gasoline, Diesel, and Marine Gas Oil for use by various Department of Defense and federal civilian agencies. Performance completion date is March 31, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 43 proposals solicited and 5 responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-05-D-4549).

G.P. Resources Inc., Rancho Dominguez, Calif.*, is being awarded a minimum $6,248,900 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for Diesel Fuel for use by U.S. Army. Performance completion date is Aug. 31, 2009. There were 228 proposals solicited and 33 responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-05-D-4513).

AIR FORCE

Photon Research Associates, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $8,000,000 cost-plus fixed-fee contract to provide for Research and Development under BAA entitled System Simulation Tool kit Enhancement and Support. The modeling and simulation (M&S) support is to perform technology evaluations and assessment, support flight experiment programs with M&S and provide software support in order to demonstrate and validate emerging technologies. The location of performance is Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., and Photon Research Associates, Albuquerque, N.M. At this time, $400,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by June 2010. Solicitation began December 2003 and negotiations were completed June 2005. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., is the contracting activity (FA9153-05-D-0001).
