CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

L-3 Communications Corp., Arlington, Texas, is being awarded a $240,900,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. This is a warfighter readiness science and technology program. This effort is to research, develop, demonstrate, evaluate, and transition leading edge technologies and methods to improve warfighter readiness and optimize human-centered logistic processes, enabling the expeditionary aerospace force to achieve their mission goals. The Air Force is issuing a task order up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. The location of performance is Air Force Research Laboratory, Mexa, Ariz. At this time, $20,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by July 2010. Solicitation began March 2005, and negotiations were completed July 2005. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-05-D-6502).

DTS Aviation Services, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $34,426,661 fixed price incentive fee with award fee contract to provide for aircraft naintenance services at Columbus Air Force Base, Miss., to include, but not limited to, a precision measurement equipment laboratory, jet engine intermediate repair, aircraft paint removal and on-and off-equipment maintenance. The location of performance is Columbus Air Force Base, Columbus, Miss. At this time, $149,223 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2006. Solicitation began November 2004 and negotiations were completed June 2005. The Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (FA3002-05-C-0016).

ARMY

OGara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Co., Fairfield, Ohio, was awarded on July 19, 2005, a $78,044,484 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the M1114 Up-Armored High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle. Work will be performed in Fairfield, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on April 10, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-00-C-S019).

Moog Inc., East Aurora, N.Y., was awarded on July 20, 2005, a delivery order amount of $21,388,125 as part of a $31,511,125 firm-fixed-price contract for the utility Blackhawk UH-60 system. Work will be performed in East Aurora, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on May 18, 2004. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-05-D-0338).

CAPCO Inc.*, Grand Junction, Colo., was awarded on July 20, 2005, an $11,239,248 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the M192 lightweight ground mount assemblies and associated spare parts. Work will be performed in Grand Junction, Colo., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were three bids solicited on Jan. 18, 2005, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Picatinny, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15QKN-05-C-0455).

Universal Technologies*, Estill Springs, Tenn., was awarded on July 20, 2005, a delivery order amount of $8,272,000 as part of a $9,138,800 firm-fixed-price contract for machine gun mounts. Work will be performed in Estill Springs, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by March 29, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on April 21, 2005, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAE20-01-D-0053).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Leader Automotive Wholesalers, Glenview, Ill., *Disadvantaged Business, is being awarded a maximum 8,510,999 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for anti-freeze for all services. Other location of performance is New Kensington, Pa. Performance completion date is July 20, 2008. This is an indefinite quantity base year contract with 2 option years. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Proposals were Gateway solicited and 2 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR), Richmond, Va. (SP040605D4082).

NAVY

National Technologies Associates, Inc.*, Alexandria, Va., is being awarded a $7,786,304 modification to a previously awarded time and materials indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00421-02-D-3205) to exercise an option for engineering, technical and administrative services in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Divisions Comptroller Competency in the areas of management studies; program records/library support; operational security program analysis; training systems technology and financial analysis. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md. (90 percent); Lakehurst, N.J. (5 percent); and St. Inigoes, Md. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in July 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
