DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Buie Wholesale Supply Ltd., Boerne, Texas, * veteran-owned business is being awarded a maximum $11,541,456 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for lumber, plywood, millwork, wood working tools and machinery prime vendor for Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Federal Civilian Agencies, and Foreign Military Sales. Other locations of performance are Ferndale, Wash., Anaheim, Calif., Thomson, Ga., Wilmington, N.C., Central Point, Ore., Augusta, Ga., Boise, Idaho, National City, Calif., and Tacoma, Wash. This is an indefinite quantity contract with a two-year base and 3 one-year option periods. Performance completion date is July 27, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Proposals were Web solicited and 2 responded. Crown Clothing Co., Vineland, N.J., * is being awarded a maximum 6,995,324 firm fixed price contract for mens coats for Marine Corps. This is a base year indefinite quantity indefinite delivery type contract. Performance completion date is October 28, 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Proposals were gateway solicited and four responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0100-05-D-0504).

ARMY

Alutiiq Manufacturing Contractors, Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded on July 25, 2005, a $52,880,627 firm-fixed-price contract for permanent ORTC Barracks and associated site work and utilities. Work will be performed at Fort Riley, Kan., and is expected to be completed by July 25, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on May 20, 2005. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Kansas City, Mo., is the contracting activity (W912DQ-05-C-0015).

AM General L.L.C., South Bend, Ind., was awarded on July 27, 2005, a $43,435,297 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for Armor Kits for Installation on the M1151 and M1152 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles. Work will be performed in South Bend, Ind., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 17, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-S001).

Norfolk Dredging Co., Chesapeake, Va., was awarded on July 22, 2005, a $29,844,000 firm-fixed-price contract for a Beach Erosion Control Project. Work will be performed in Sarasota, Fla., and is expected to be completed by April 10, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on November 29, 2004, and two bids were received. Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, was awarded on July 26, 2005, a $20,621,802 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the Improved Target Acquisition System. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. M.A. Mortenson Co., Minneapolis, Minn., was awarded on July 25, 2005, a delivery order amount of $17,749,000 as part of a $17,749,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of barracks and associated site utilities. Work will be performed at Fort Riley, Kan., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 19, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on July 7, 2005, and one bid was received. Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Co., Oak Brook, Ill., was awarded on July 25, 2005, a $13,755,280 firm-fixed-price contract for the St. Johns Shore Protection Project. Work will be performed in Lee, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 4, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 34 bids solicited on Nov. 29, 2004, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville, Fla., is the contracting activity (W912EP-05-C-0032).

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., was awarded on July 25, 2005, a delivery order amount of $8,355,435 as part of a $22,494,808 firm-fixed-price contract for overhaul, upgrade, and recapitalization of the UH-60 Input Module. Work will be performed in Shelton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 18 bids solicited on Nov. 23, 2004, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-05-D-0377).

AIR FORCE

Boeing Wichita Development, Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a $23,717,554 cost-plus incentive-fee contract modification to provide for Kit-Proof effort for the VC-25A aircraft Supportability and Infrastructure Upgrade (SIU). This is for the second install of the SIU modification and includes engineering, material, installation and test. The SIU modification replaces aging and obsolete analog audio/video distribution, cabin management, and passenger services systems with digital systems including on demand audio/video and upgraded lighting systems in parts of the aircraft. There are two VC-25A aircraft, which provide air transportation for the President, Vice-President, Cabinet Members, and other dignitaries on a worldwide basis and are assigned to the 89th Air Wing at Andrews Air Force Base, Md. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by March 2008. Negotiations were completed July 2005. The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (FA8106-04-C-0006, P00017).

NAVY

Oregon Iron Works Inc., Clackamas, Ore., is being awarded a $9,220,300 firm-fixed-price contract for construction and delivery of Spare Caisson #2 for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility. Work will be performed in Clackamas, Ore. (80 percent), and Vancouver, Wash. (20 percent), and is expected to be completed by November 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Internet with three offers received. The Navy Regional Maintenance Center, Bremerton, Wash., is the contracting activity (N4523A-05-C-0001).
