ARMY

Centennial Contractors Enterprise, Vienna, Va., was awarded July 28, 2005, a $125,000,000 firm-fixed-price task order to support the 70th Reserve Service Center at Fort Lewis, Wash. Worldwide Web and open-competition announcements of April 13, 2005, resulted in four bids received. Work will be performed at Fort Lewis and at the 70th Reserve Service Centers facilities in Idaho, Oregon and Montana. The work is to be completed by July 22, 2010. Chugach Industries Inc., Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded Aug. 5, 2005, a $22,918,809 firm-fixed price contract for base operations at Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. to include maintenance, logistics services and information technology support. Work will be performed at the Armys Picatinny Arsenal and is to be completed by Aug. 30, 2020 (if all options are exercised) by this small-business Alaskan-native corporation. ITT Federal Services International Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo., was awarded Aug. 5, 2005, a $19,678,599 requirements-type contract with time and material-priced task orders to provide logistics-support services for the Multi National Forces Iraq. Solicitations via the Worldwide Web on March 8, 2005, resulted in 10 bids received. Work will be performed in Iraq and is to be completed by Aug. 5, 2009. EDO RSS, Morgan Hill, Calif., was awarded Aug. 5, 2005, a $11,607,216 firm-fixed-price contract to provide six CS-3000 Shelters as well as their spare parts and training for Egypt under this foreign-military sale. The work will be performed at EDO RSS facilities in Morgan Hill and is to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. BAE Systems, Communications, Navigation, Identification & Reconnaissance, Wayne, N.J., was awarded a $9,715,887 firm-fixed price contract for the acquisition of 223 computer displays for the use in the Doppler Global Positioning System Navigation Systems of Black Hawk and Chinook helicopters. The work will be performed at BAEs facilities in Wayne, N.J., and is to be completed by July 31, 2007. AES Kjaer, Division of Kjaer Group, Reston, Va., was awarded Aug. 5, 2005, a $6,750,556 firm-fixed-price contract with indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity for 93 police trucks, spare parts, and English/Arabic operating manuals for the Iraqi Supplemental Acquisition Military Program. Two bids were received after being solicited on the Worldwide Web on July 7, 2005. The work will be performed by AES Kjaer at their Louisville, Ky., location and will be completed by Aug. 31, 2007. NAVY

General Electric Co., Niskayuna, N.Y. is being awarded an $11,117,258 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost reimbursement no fee contract for research and development associated with active screening and imaging of shielded special nuclear materials and ultra-large field of view x-ray imagers for cargo radiography. Work will be performed in Niskayuna, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by February 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with an unrestricted Broad Agency Announcement solicitation via the Federal Business Opportunities web site, with 79 proposals solicited and 40 offers evaluated as selectable. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-05-D-6033).

United Technologies Corp., Pratt & Whitney, Military Engines, East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $7,999,915 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-04-D-0077) for the Lift Fan Thrust Improvement Program. This program will define an enhanced short take-off and vertical landing propulsion system with the capability of delivering additional thrust to support potential future growth of the F35 air system. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind. (80 percent); Middletown, Conn. (15 percent); and Bristol, United Kingdom (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Ametek Ind., Aerospace Division, Wilmington, Mass., is being awarded a maximum $6,560,468 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for spare parts for land/ground equipment for Army and Navy. The performance completion date is Oct. 30, 2013. There was one solicited sole source and one response. This contract has a two-year base period and four two-year option periods. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR), Richmond, Va. (SP0400004D9409).

Accenture, LLP, Reston, Va., is being awarded a maximum $6,300,923 firm fixed price contract for Informational Technology Services for the Defense Logistics Agency. Contract funds will not expire in current fiscal year. The performance completion date is Dec. 5, 2006. There were six proposals submitted and three responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0103-05-F-A130).
