CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $196,192,000 firm fixed price contract modification to exercise option VII and option G for fiscal year 2006, KC-10 and KDC-10 contractor logistics support. This action supports foreign military sales to KDC-10 ARS, the Netherlands. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2006. The location of performance is McDonnell Douglas, San Antonio, Texas (57 percent), and General Electronic, Ontario, Calif. (43 percent). The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-98-C-0125/P00188).

CSC Applied Technologies, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $46,644,000 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for contractor logistics support for the C-21 aircraft, consisting of maintenance, repair and support functions. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2006. The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (FA8106-05-C-0001/P00023).

Boeing, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $7,580,112 firm fixed price contract modification to redesign the electronic unit central processor unit input/output for use on the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System for F-15, F-16, and F-18 platforms. Nine foreign military sales countries will benefit from this effort. This action definitizes Phase 1a and 1b ($3,773,900 not-to-exceed) and incorporates Phase 2. At this time, $4,749,687 has been obligated. This work will be complete by December 2006. Solicitation began in January 2005 and negotiations were complete in September 2005. The Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-D-0026/P003506).

NAVY

Electric Boat Corporation, Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $34,006,744 delivery order under previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00024-04-D-4408) for the Pre-Inactivation Restricted Availability of USS Augusta (SSN 710) to accomplish maintenance, repair, alterations, testing and routine work. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed March 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is contracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $23,079,679 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-priced contract (N00019-03-C-0055) to exercise an option for manufacturing, testing and delivery of 17 Reconfigurable Transportable Consolidated Automated Support Systems for the U.S. Navy, (16) and the U.S. Air Force (1) and 7 Self Maintenance and Test/Calibration Operational Test Program Sets for the U.S. Navy (6) and the U.S. Air Force (1). Work will be performed in North Reading, Mass., and is expected to be completed in May 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $13,894,098 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-05-C-0045) to provide persistent Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicle services for an Afloat Forward Staging Base and on the High Speed Vessel in direct support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Global War on Terrorism. Work will be performed onboard a Navy vessel in the Pacific, and is expected to be completed in September 2006. Contract funds in the amount of $13,894,098 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas, a subsidiary of Boeing Company, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded $7,746,089 for delivery order (7021) under previously awarded firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00383-01-D-020H) for the procurement of 37 horizontal stabilizers used on the F/A 18 aircraft program. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by July 2010. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. One company was solicited for this non-competitive requirement and one offer was received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa. is the contracting activity.

Alloy Surfaces Co. Inc., Aston, Pa., is being awarded $6,749,980 for delivery order (0002) under previously awarded definite-delivery/definite-quantity contract (N00104-05-G-0726) to exercise an option for an additional year, FY 2006. The FY 2006, 150% Option Provision, has firm-fixed unit prices which can be exercised up to one year from date of definitization. The contract will provide for the production of 72,448 MJU-64/B Decoy Devices. The MJU-64/B Decoy Device is an air launched electronically reflective material used to confuse enemy radar. Work will be performed in Aston, Pa., and will be completed by March 2007. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. One company was solicited for this non-competitive requirement and one offer was received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, Pa. is the contracting activity (N00104-05-G-0726).

ARMY

Raytheon Technical Services Co., Indianapolis, Ind., was awarded on Sept. 21, 2005, a delivery order amount of $9,659,160 as part of a $12,054,726 firm-fixed-price contract for multi-faceted explosive formed penetrate and fence piercing warheads, and 32 and 50mm bar and cable cutters. Work will be performed in Texarkana, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 22, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited on May 29, 2003, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAE30-03-D-1017).

Smoky Hill L.L.C.*, Salina, Kan., was awarded on Sept. 20, 2005, an $8,479,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of brigade facilities and organizational parking. Work will be performed at Fort Riley, Kan., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 10, 2005, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Mo., is the contracting activity (W912DQ-05-C-0028).

Creative Times Inc.*, Ogden, Utah, was awarded on Sept. 20, 2005, a $7,619,543 construction contract for design and construction of an inter-continental ballistic missiles propellant analysis complex. Work will be performed at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 88 bids solicited on May 6, 2005, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento, Calif., is the contracting activity (W91238-05-C-0030).

Taylor Kelly L.L.C., Kansas City, Mo., was awarded on Sept. 21, 2005, a $7,341,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of a child development center. Work will be performed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., and is expected to be completed by March 15, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on July 29, 2005, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Kansas City, Mo., is the contracting activity (W912DQ-05-C-0029).

Lord Corp., Erie, Pa., was awarded on Sept. 21, 2005, a $6,377,520 firm-fixed-price contract for rod end bearings for the UH-60 Utility Blackhawk. Work will be performed in Dayton, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 12, 2005. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-05-C-0317).
