CONTRACTS

NAVY

Harris Corp., RF Communications Division, Rochester, N.Y., is being awarded a $77,748,000 firm-fixed-price blanket purchase agreement contract for the procurement of a Multi-Band Multi-Mission Radio. Work will be performed in Rochester, N.Y., and is expected to be completed September 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via Navy Electronic Commerce Online, with two offers received. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity (M67854-06-A-7001).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $53,463,067 delivery order under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price requirements contract (N00383-01-D-001H) for extended logistics support of the F/A-18E/F, excluding the engine. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by December 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity (Order 0005).

Guam Shipyard, Santa Rita, Guam, is being awarded a $7,929,131 firm-fixed-price contract for the regular overhaul of ammunition ship USNS Flint. USNS Flint is a Naval Fleet Auxiliary Force ship owned and operated by Military Sealift Command. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $10,030,424. Work will be performed in Santa Rita, Guam, and is expected to be completed by April 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was a sole source procurement. The Navys Military Sealift Command Office Guam is the contracting activity (N62404-06-C-0001).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $7,374,518 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-02-C-3236) to exercise an option for engineering, maintenance services, and limited manufacturing support for various flight test programs conducted at Navy Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX-23) in support of the F/A-18 Aircraft Program. Work will be performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md. (91.7 percent) and St. Louis, Mo. (8.3 percent), and is expected to be completed in October 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

SPARTA Inc., Lake Forest, Calif., is being awarded a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee sole source contract modification P00048 to Contract HQ0006-02-C-0004, to provide Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance Support for the Executive Management Council to the Missile Defense Agencys Deputy Director for Ballistic Missile Defense System Integration, the Deputy Director for Technology & Engineering, and the Chief of Staff. The contract modification extension is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2006. The contract modification will be performed in Arlington, Va. The contract modification value is $28,459,101. The Missile Defense Agency is the contracting activity. (HQ0006-02-C-0004)

Computer Sciences Corp., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee sole source contract modification P00011 to Contract HQ0006-04-C-0002, to provide Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance Support for the Executive Management Council to the Missile Defense Agencys Deputy Director for Ballistic Missile Defense System Integration, the Deputy Director for Technology & Engineering, and the Chief of Staff. The contract modification extension is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2006. The contract modification will be performed in Fairfax and Arlington, Va. The contract modification value is $19,102,417. The Missile Defense Agency is the contracting activity. (HQ0006-04-C-0002)

AIR FORCE

Honeywell International, Clearwater, Fla., is being awarded a $26,395,461 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide for research and development under Broad Agency Announcement VS-05-01, Technical Area 14 entitled Strategic Resonating Beam Accelerometer Development for the Advanced Ballistic Missile Technologies program. The location of performance is Honeywell Defense and Space Redmond, Redmond, Wash. At this time, $1,400,000 has been obligated. This work will be complete September 2010. Solicitations began in February 2005 and one proposal was received. Negotiations were complete September 2005. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. is the contracting activity. (FA9453-05-C-0241)

Lockheed Martin Space Systems, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $12,687,787 cost plus award fee/cost plus fixed fee contract modification to the existing Space Base Infrared Systems, Hugh Component Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development contract. This contract action primarily provides for a development and engineering effort that will produce Rapid Prototypes and provide for their sustainment prior to their incorporation into the baseline. The location of performance is Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Azusa, Calif. At this time, $1,351,820 has been obligated. This work will be complete June 2010. Negotiations were complete September 2005. The Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif. is the contracting activity. (F04701-95-C-0017/P00300)

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Advanced Technology Institute, North Charleston, S.C., is being awarded a maximum $10,055,215 Cost Sharing Contract for research and development in support of the Procurement Readiness Optimization Advanced Casting Technologies, or PRO-ACT Program. This contract has a five-year performance period. Proposals were FedBizOpps solicited; four responded. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Performance completion date is Oct. 31, 2010. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0103-05-C-0016)

ARMY

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co. L.L.C., Oak Brook, Ill., was awarded on Oct. 7, 2005, a $6,493,920 firm-fixed-price contract for Maintenance Dredging. Work will be performed in Cameron Parish, La., and is expected to be completed by May 16, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 11 bids solicited on Feb. 10, 2005, and one bid was received. The Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity (W912P8-06-C-0001).
