The current Command Receiver Decoder must be replaced to meet new operating frequency requirements. The new CRD must be qualified of flight by development component and system level tests. The CRD is a flight critical item and therefore is subject to special and comprehensive evaluations. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete in February 2007.
