CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
 
            Graybar Electric Co., Inc., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a maximum $74,000,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment for maintenance, repair, and operations supplies contract for Southwest Region, Zone 1.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.  Proposals were Web-solicited and seven responded.  This is an indefinite delivery/quantity contract exercising option year 1.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is May 18, 2007.  Contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Philadelphia, Pa (SP0500-04-D-BP07).
 
            Science Applications International Corp., (DBA SAIC), Fairfield, N.J., * is being awarded a maximum $27,000,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment for maintenance, repair, and operations supplies contract for Southwest Region, Zone 1.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.  Proposals were Web-solicited and seven responded.  This is an indefinite delivery/quantity contract exercising option year 1.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is May 18, 2007.  Contracting activity is DSCP, Philadelphia, Pa (SP0500-04-D-BP08).
 
AIR FORCE
 
            Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $62,000,000 firm fixed price & cost plus fixed fee contract modification.  This action will increase the current undefinitized contract action for Lot 6, F-22 aircraft performance based agile logistics support (PALS) activities.  Specifically this modification funds PALS 3010 activities through June 2006 and authorized work to begin on 3600 funded support equipment development activities.  Additionally, this modification increases the obligation amount for the Lot 6 PALS effort to 75%.  At this time, $137,300,100 has been obligated.  This work will be complete December 2006.  Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.  (FA8611-05-C-2850/P00015)
 
            Northrop-Grumman Mission Systems, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded a $9,535,150 cost plus incentive fee, cost plus fixed fee & firm fixed price contract modification.  This contract is for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Minuteman minimum essential emergency communications network program (MMP).  This effort will include the redesign and testing of spares affected by obsolescence issues.  This modification to the ICBM prime intergrate contract will also provide non-redesigned and redesigned sustainment spares required to provide lifetime support under the forthcoming contractor logistic support modification.  At this time, total funds have been obligated.  Work will be complete March 2009.  Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity.  (F42610-98-C-0001/at this time no modification # has been assigned)
 
ARMY
 
            Odyssey International*, Baltimore, Md., was awarded on May 11, 2006, 2006, a $21,418,603 firm-fixed-price contract for replacement of the Bureau of Indian Affairs Leupp Boarding School.  Work will be performed in Coconino, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 16, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 20 bids solicited on Nov. 14, 2005, and two bids were received.  The Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque, N.M., is the contracting activity (W912PP-06-C-0006).
 
            Simula Aerospace and Defense Group Inc., Phoenix, Ariz., was awarded on May 11, 2006, an $8,285,985 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the multiple armor spare parts for the M915 system.  Work will be performed in Phoenix, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by May 11, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on December 2005.  The Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-06-C-0196).
 
            GM GDLS Defense Group L.L.C. (Joint Venture), Sterling Heights, Mich., was awarded on May 11, 2006, a $5,076,755 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Stryker contractor logistics support.  Work will be performed in Southwest Asia, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 13, 2005.  The Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-02-C-B001).
 
NAVY
 
            Austal Hull 130 Chartering, LLC, Mobile, Ala., is being awarded a $13,395,944 firm-fixed-priced, reimbursables contract for the charter of high speed vessel MV Westpac Express.  This charter is a passenger/cargo vessel that will be operated to transport Okinawa-based Marine Corps’ Third Marine Expeditionary Force and their equipment.  This contract includes four one-year options, which if exercised, would bring the total award amounts to $55,285,500 plus an estimated $33,364,740 for fuel and reimbursables.  The vessel will be prepositioned at sea in various locations worldwide, mainly in and around Okinawa, Japan.  The contract is expected to commence in February 2007 and have a completion date of September 2007 (with options exercised the completion date will be September 2011).   The contract will be funded with FY 2007 funds that will expire at the end of fiscal year 07.  This contract was competitively procured with 100 proposals solicited and eight offers received.  The U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00033-06-C-3308).
