CONTRACTS
NAVY
 
            Marinette Marine Corp., Marinette, Wis., is being awarded $125,968,000 to exercise an option under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00025-03-C-0002) for the manufacture of the improved Navy lighterage system to be delivered at Naval Amphibious Construction Battalion One, Coronado, Calif. and Naval Amphibious Construction Battalion Two, Little Creek, Norfolk, Va., Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific and Blount Island Command, Jacksonville, Fla.  The work to be performed consists of manufacturing 300 powered and non-powered modules.  Contractor-approved detailed design drawings will be utilized for full rate production.  After exercise of this option, the total cumulative contract amount will be $170,379,551.  This contract contains two additional 1-year option periods, which if exercised, will bring the total contract value to $314,078,157.  Work will be performed in Marinette, Wis., and the expected completion date is December 2007.  The entire period of performance if all options are exercised will be through October 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The basic contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website with six proposals received and award made on Aug. 12, 2003.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Headquarters, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
 
            BAE Systems Spectral Solutions, LLC, Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $5,998,252 ceiling-priced order against a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00421-03-D-0025) to leverage previous efforts that resulted in the electro-optic passive anti-submarine warfare system (EPAS) 2005 demonstration unit.  This modification includes the engineering and field testing of the first demonstration unit built under the previous task order.  Work will be performed in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed in May 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Warfare Center, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
 
ARMY
 
            AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Md., was awarded on May 4, 2006, an $87,154,533 firm-fixed-price contract for full rate production of the SHADOW Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System and associated support equipment.  Work will be performed in Hunt Valley, Md., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 11, 2006.  The Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-06-C-0292).
 
            AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Md., was awarded on May 3, 2006, a $65,556,046 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for performance based contractor logistics support for the SHADOW Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System.  Work will be performed in Hunt Valley, Md., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on March 7, 2006.  The Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-06-C-0256).
 
AIR FORCE
 
            Analytic Services, Inc., Arlington, Va., and Anteon, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $20,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity multiple award contract to provide for Non-personal advisory and assistance services relating to Information Assurance (IA), commercial/government off-the-shelf software project management support, policy Development and resource analysis. At this time, $2,000 has been obligated.  This work will be complete May 2011.  Headquarters Air Force District of Washington, Bolling Air Force Base, D.C., is the contracting activity (FA7014-06-D-0011 (Anteon) and FA7014-06-D-0012 (ANSER).
 
 
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
 
            American Apparel, Selma, Ala., is being awarded a maximum $11,804,800 firm fixed price Army contract for men’s all weather coats for Marines.  There were nine proposals solicited and seven responded.  This is an indefinite delivery type contract exercising option year four.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is May 9, 2007.  Contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa (SP0100-02-D-0215).
