ARMY

Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, Philadelphia, Pa., was awarded on August 24, 1996, a $10,335,868 modification to a cost plus award fee contract for the operation and maintenance of the Johnston Atoll Chemical Agent Disposal System (JACADS). Work will be performed at the Johnston Atoll, in the Pacific, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated in April, 1995. The contracting activity is the Headquarters, Industrial Operations Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DACA87-86-C-0098).

Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Incorporated, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $12,629,471 increment as part of a $15,796,261 (includes 3 options) cost plus fixed fee contract for the development and demonstration of a Radiation Tolerant 4 MBIT Static Random Access Memory (SRAM). Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed by August 15, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 9 bids solicited on August 3, 1995, and 2 bids received. The contracting activity is the Defense Special Weapons Agency, Alexandria, Va. (DSWA01-96-C-0106).

Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems Division, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $10,817,000 modification to a cost plus incentive fee contract for a PATRIOT Anti-Cruise Missile upgrade, Phase II. Work will be performed in Tewsbury, Mass. (90%), and Bedford, Mass. (10%), and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract solicited on May 29, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-96-C-0062).

 

 

 

Pentastar Electronics Incorporated, Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $5,717,873 on a cost plus fixed fee delivery order contract for System Technical Support (STS) for the Direct Support Electrical System Test Set (DSESTS). Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by August 18, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract solicited on June 24, 1996. The contracting activity is U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAE20-95-G-001).

Coonrod and Associates Construction Company, Incorporated,

Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a $8,255,360 firm fixed price contract to

construct a B-1B aircraft fuel systems maintenance hanger (31,000 square feet). Work will be performed at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., and is expected to be completed by July 11, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 55 bids Solicited on May 15, 1996, and 6 bids received. The contracting activity is the National Guard Bureau, Topeka, Kan. (DAHA14-96-C-5005).

Watterson Construction Company, Anchorage, Alaska is being

awarded a $5,447,000 firm fixed price contract to construct a visiting

officers' quarters facility within the building's 5-foot lines, complete; and construct

utilities and sitework outside the building's 5-foot lines complete. Work will be performed at

Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, and is expected to be completed by August 1, 1998.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was a

broad agency announcement in the Commerce Business Daily on July 9, 1996, and 12 bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Anchorage, Alaska (DACA85-C-96-0015).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Ansley Business Materials*, Chicago, Ill., is being awarded a $15,000,000 indefinite- quantity contract for office equipment and supplies. 33 proposals were solicited and seven were received. Work is expected to be completed by August 25, 1997. The Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO400-96-D-E001).
