DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY
Envision, Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a fixed price requirements type contract on Aug. 6, 2007, to provide plastic T-Shirt Bags at all U.S. commissary store locations. The estimated award amount is $49,799,750.00. The contract is for a one-year base period beginning Sep. 1, 2007, through Aug. 31, 2008. Four one-year option periods are available. If all option periods are exercised, the contract will be completed Aug. 31, 2012. Envision, a National Industry for the Blind Agency, was solicited and submitted an offer for this solicitation as mandated by the procurement list. McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $10,000,000 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (N00019-04-C-0005) for the design, development, fabrication/assembly and qualification of up to 20 EA-18G Extended Low Band Radomes. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (55 percent) and Mesa, Ariz. (45 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
Augusta Systems, Inc.*, Morgantown, W. Va., is being awarded a $9,999,450 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to determine the ability of a multi-node, distributed, decentralized, heterogeneous, intelligent sensor system to provide persistent intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance and reliable target recognition. Work will be performed in Wallops Island, W. Va., and is expected to be completed in July 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under a Broad Agency Announcement and 20 offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-07-D-0023).
Wyle Laboratories, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $9,186,037 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-award-fee contract (N00421-04-C-0121) to exercise an option for engineering and technical services in support of the Aging Aircraft Team and Joint Council on Aging Aircraft. Work will be performed in Lexington Park, Md., and is expected to be completed in August 2008. Contract funds in the amount of $120,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
M/A-Com, Inc., Lynchburg, Va., is being awarded a $6,000,000 indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity,firm-fixed-price contract for Land Mobile Radio systems and equipment for the Hierarchical Yet Dynamically Reprogrammable Architecture (HYDRA) Wireless Interior Communications program. The contract includes four one-year option periods which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to an estimated $29,999,999. Work will be performed in Lynchburg, Va., and is expected to be completed by August 2008 (August 2012 with options). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured because it is a sole source acquisition. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-07-D-5115).
General Atomics, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for $7,307,964. This action will provide two Pre-Production YMQ-1C Block X aircraft. At this time, total funds have been obligated. Solicitations began in April 2006 and negotiations were completed in July 2007. This work will be complete in January 2009.
