            Hunt Building Co., LTD, El Paso, Texas, was awarded on Nov. 16, 2007, a $28,070,900 firm-fixed-price contract for military family housing. Work will be performed in Dyess AFB, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 10, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This web solicitation was announced on May 21, 2007, and two bids were received. The Army Corps of Engineers – Omaha District, Omaha, Neb., is the contracting activity W9128F-07-C-0028.
            *CSI Armoring, Miami, Fla., was awarded on Nov. 15, 2007, a delivery order amount of $7,792,502 as part of a $7,792,502 firm-fixed-price contract for Armored Sport Utility Vehicles. Work will be performed in Miami, Fla., and is expected to be completed by May 24, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 6 bids solicited on Aug. 13, 2007, and 14 bids were received. The Multi-National Security Transition Command – Iraq, Baghdad, Iraq, is the contracting activity GS-07F-08-0001.
            Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training and Support, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $13,248,375 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for computer program modernization and integration required for the Machinery Control Systems of DDG-51 Flight I/II Class Ships. This contract will include a base effort for modernization of existing computer programs as well as engineering services and support that may be required for integration efforts associated with new technologies selected as part of the DDG-Modernization Program. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., and is expected to be completed in November 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-08-C-4202).
            General Electric Transportation Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a maximum $15,335,100 firm fixed price, requirements type contract modification for commercial, sole source items for engine lines. This acquisition was solicited with 1 response prior to the issuance of the Interim Rule limiting task or delivery order contract to not more than 5 years. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Date of performance completion is March 31, 2008. Contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR), Richmond, Va. (SPM400-00-D-9403).
