CONTRACT

 

AIR FORCE
   
            Northrop Grumman Mission Systems of San Jose, Calif., is being awarded a contract for $54,900,000.  The purpose of this action was to procure MQ-1 Unmanned Aerial System ASIP-1C scaled sensor for the Predator Unmanned Aerial System. At this time $16,678,757 has been obligated. USAF/AFMC, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8620-08-C-3004).

          

            Honeywell International Inc. of Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded a contract for $10,000,000.  This action will mature the flight subsystems design of the Vision Flight Experiment (VFE) point of departure vehicle, in order to conduct ground experimentation and simulation to investigate the performance and operability of the flight subsystems of the VFE program, and conduct ground experimentation and simulation to investigate the performance and operability of the component Health Management systems associated with the flight subsystems of the VFE program. At this time $140,000 has been obligated. AFRL/PKDA, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-08-D-7803, Task Order 0001).
 
            Carothers Construction Inc. of Water Valley, Miss., is being awarded a firm fixed price contract for $7,012,015.  This action provides for repair hangar floors and doors in Bldg 83, at Robins Air Force Base, Ga. At this time $7,012,015 has been obligated. 78th Contracting Squadron/PKC, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8501-08-C-0005).
 
            General Electric Systems, LLC of Grand Rapid, Mich., is being awarded a firm fixed price contract modification for $5,865,922.  This requirement is for the depot repair, engineering analysis, and technical support required to maintain the operational integrity and logistics supportability of the self-contained navigation system through the accomplishment of contractor logistics support program supporting approximately 600 C-130 aircraft deployed worldwide. This action is for one-year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Iraq. At this time $4,630,674 has been obligated. 330 ACSG/GFKA, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8504-05-C-0002-P00011).
  
ARMY
 
            DynCorp International LLC, Falls Church, Va., was awarded on Nov. 24, 2007, a $49,222,081 firm-fixed-price contract for the design and construction of an Afghan National Army Garrison. Work will be performed in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 13, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were30 bids solicited on Oct. 13, 2007, and 18 bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, Kabul, Afghanistan, is the contracting activity W917PM-08-C-0009.
 
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
 
            US Foodservice Oklahoma Division, Oklahoma City, Okla., is being awarded a maximum $32,575,020.64 firm fixed price, indefinite delivery contract for full line food distribution.  Using services are Army, Navy, and Air Force.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were eight original proposals solicited with three responses. Date of performance completion is Jan 31, 2010. The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM300-08-D-3229).
 
NAVY
 
            Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded $27,731,473 for fixed-price delivery order #0044 under previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (M67854-04-D-5016) to purchase 112 additional Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) vehicles. With this award, the new ceiling for the base contract has increased to $2,424.5 billion in accordance with Class Justification & Approval 11,159.3 executed by Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) on Aug. 22, 2007. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and work is expected to be complete Sep 2010. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.  
 
            BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P., Armament Systems Division, Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded an $18,661,039 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-04-C-5454) for procurement of MK 13 MOD 0 Canisters and MK 25 MOD 0 Canisters for the U.S. Navy, Japan and NATO SEASPARROW Program Office foreign governments’ requirements, and includes packaging, handling, storage, and transportation equipment, and reconfigurable coding plug assemblies and explosive bolts. MK 13/MK 25 canisters for the MK 41 Vertical Launching System store, safely transport, and enable loading of the Evolved SEASPARROW Missile into MK 31 Vertical Launching Systems aboard Navy Ships. This contract supports the U.S. Navy (44.1precent) and the Governments of Japan (23.2 percent), Germany (15.5 percent), Spain (10.3 percent), Australia (6.9 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in Aberdeen, S. D., and work is expected to be completed by June 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity.
  
            BAE Systems, Burlington, Mass., is being awarded an $8,496,201 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to develop an intrinsically assurable mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) that directly supports integrity, availability, reliability, confidentially, safety, and non-repudiation of MANET communications and data. The research and development services will be provided to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) through the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego (SSC San Diego).   Work will be performed in Burlington, Mass., and work is expected to be completed in June 2009. This contract was awarded from DARPA Broad Agency Announcement No. 07-32 via the Federal Business Opportunities web site. SSC San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-08-C-2013).
 
            Telcordia Technologies, Inc., Piscataway, N.J., is being awarded a $7,772,423 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to develop an intrinsically assurable mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) that directly supports integrity, availability, reliability, confidentially, safety, and non-repudiation of MANET communications and data. The research and development services will be provided to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency through the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego. Work will be performed in Piscataway, N.J., and work is expected to be completed Jun 2009. This contract was awarded from DARPA Broad Agency Announcement No. 07-32 via the Federal Business Opportunities web site.
