ARMY
 
            Global Linguist Solutions, LLC., Springfield, Va., was awarded on Dec. 6, 3007, a delivery order amount of $60,000,000 as part of a $4,645,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for interpreter and translator services. Work will be performed in various locations in Iraq, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 5, 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This web solicitation was posted on Feb. 17, 2006, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity W911W4-08-D-0002.
 
            L3 Communications Corp., Arlington, Texas, was awarded on Dec. 11, 2007, a $34,881,264 mixed-line-item contract for aviation combined arms tactical trainers. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Apr. 30, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was solicited on Dec. 7, 2007, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Program Executive Office – Simulation, Training and Instrumentation, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity N61339-00-C-0002.
 
            Southern Services & Equipment, St. Bernard, La, was awarded on Dec. 7, 2007, a delivery order amount of $7,686,948 as part of a $7,686,984 firm-fixed-price contract for work on hurricane protection flood walls. Work will be performed in Jefferson Parish, La., and is expected to be completed by Jul. 30, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Eight bids were solicited on Oct. 24, 2007, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New Orleans District, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity W912P8-06-D-0099.
 
NAVY
 
            Lockheed Martin, Maritime Systems & Sensors, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $48,890,000 cost-plus-award-fee, level-of-effort modification under the previously awarded Aegis Integration and Test contract (N00024-03-C-5115) to exercise an option to provide engineering services for DDG 51 Class Aegis Combat System Installation, Integration and Test, in support of the Program Executive Officer Integrated Warfare Systems. The required services for DDG 51 Class ships and CG 47 Class ships include program management and operation support, quality assurance, configuration management, ship design integration, fleet lifecycle engineering support, installation support, firmware maintenance, combat system test and evaluation, Navy furnished material support, special studies, and future-ship integration studies. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J. (60 percent), Bath, Maine (20 percent) and Pascagoula, Miss. (20 percent), and work is expected to be completed Dec. 2009. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, DC, is the contracting activity.
 
            Lockheed Martin, Maritime Systems and Sensors, St. Paul, Minn., is being awarded a $5,536,045 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract (N00421-05-D-0005) to exercise an option for approximately 97,920 hours of Software Generation, Test and Evaluation and Computer Operation Support Services for the Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems Division. Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md., and is expected to be completed in Dec. 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
 
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
 
            Schroth Safety Products Corp., Pompano Beach, Fla. is being awarded a maximum $14,064,435.00 firm fixed price, sole source contract for HWWMV Gunner’s Safety Restraint System.  There are no other locations of performance. Using service is Army. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was 1 proposal originally solicited with 1 response. Date of performance completion is Dec. 18, 2008.  The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Columbus, Columbus, Ohio (SPM7L2-08-C-0013).
 
            U.S. Foodservice Inc., Salem, Mo., is being awarded a maximum $7,322,465.65 firm fixed price, indefinite quantity contract for full line food distribution services.  Other location of performance is Kan. Using services are Army and Air Force. This contract is exercising an extension of option year four.  There were 178 proposals originally solicited with two responses  Date of performance completion is May 17, 2008. The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM300-08-D-3033).
