ARMY
 
            Raytheon Co., Andover, Mass., was awarded on Nov. 20, 2008, a $77,378,819 firm fixed fee price contract for exercise option for contract. The acquisition is for the continuous technology refreshment of 166 each, Patriot PAC2 Forebodies to Guidance Enhanced Missile Plus (GEM) Frequency Generator Upgrade. Work will be performed in Andover, Mass., with an estimated completion date of Aug. 30, 2011. One bid was solicited and one bid was received. US Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-00-D-004).
 
            Chrysler International Corp., Auburn Hills, Mich., was awarded on Nov. 19, 2008, a $37,963,125 firm fixed fee price contract for commercial Wrangler Long Wheel Base Jeeps.    Work will be performed in Auburn Hills, Mich., with an estimated completion date of June 19, 2009. One bid was solicited and one bid was received. US Army TACOM, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-09-C-0177).
 
            L-3 Services Inc, Alexandria, Va., was awarded on Nov. 19, 2008, a $27,640,486 firm/fixed/fee price contract for first option period for the Integrated Recruiter Services for the US Army Recruiting Command for the period 1 December 2007 through 30 November 2008 with two one year option periods through 30 November 2010. Work will be performed in Radcliff, Ky., with an estimated completion date of Nov. 30, 2010. Bids solicited were via Website Army Single Face To Industry and eight bids were received. MICC Center, Fort Knox, Ky., is the contracting activity.
 
            FLIR Systems Inc, Wilsonville, Ore., was awarded on Nov. 20, 2008, a $12,944,060 firm fixed fee price contract for Star FIRE III sensors and related cables and hardware, for the Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (RAID) sensor components. Work will be performed in Wilsonville, Ore., with an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2009. One bid was solicited and one bid was received. US Army Space & Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (W9113M-07-D-0004).

            Jupiter Corp., (Team Jupiter, 301-946-8088), Wheaton, Md., was awarded on Nov. 20, 2008, a $10,958,520 cost plus fixed fee price contract to provide support to Army Central Clearance Facility to assist in eliminating adjudicative case backlog.    Work will be performed at Army Central Clearance Facility, Fort Meade, Md., with an estimated completion date of Nov. 23, 2009. Bids solicited were via the Web and three bids were received. US Army Intelligence and Security Command, Principal Assistant Responsible for Contracting, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (W911W4-09-F-0005).
 
AIR FORCE
 
            The Air Force is modifying a cost plus award fee contract with Aerospace Testing Alliance, Tullahoma, Tenn., for $77,159,594. The increase in this contract results from changes to the workload in the facilities and increased maintenance investment, and mission support requirements. At this time, no money has been obligated. AEDC/PK, Arnold AFB, Tenn., is the contracting activity. (P40600-03-C-001, Modification P00158).
 
            The Air Force is modifying a cost plus award fee contract with Lockheed Martin Space Systems Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., for $49,947,000. This modification will provide authority to proceed with architectural engineering, software enhancement development, as well as coordinating schedule shifts to the existing SBIRS baseline. At this time no money has been obligated. SBIRS Wing, El Segundo, Calif., is the contracting activity.             The Air Force is modifying a firm fixed price, cost reimbursable, no fee, labor hour contract with Lockheed Marin Simulation, Training and Support, Orlando, Fla. for $25,025,974.96. This modification provides for C-130 Aircrew Training System program contractor logistics support for various training devices including database generation, engineering support, courseware development and instruction.  The entire amount has been obligated. 558 ACSG/PK, Hill AFB, Utah is the contracting authority.             Rand and Jones Enterprise, Co., Inc., of Buffalo, N.Y. is being awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for a maximum of $20,000,000. This action will provide for simplified acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements contract for real property maintenance, repair, alterations, and minor construction projects at Rome Research Site. At this time $35,255.95 has been obligated. AFRL/RIKO, Rome N.Y. is the contracting authority.             L3 Communications Integrated Systems, Greenville, Tex., is being awarded a firm fixed price commercial contract for $7,490,711. This action will provide for 1 Beechcraft King Air 350ER aircraft. At this time the entire amount has been obligated. 645 AESG/SYK, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is the contracting authority. (FA8620-09-C-3021)
 
 
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
 
            Gentex Corp., Carbondale, Pa. is being awarded a maximum $67,257,000 firm fixed price, indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract for advanced combat helmets. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. This proposal was originally Dibbs solicited with 3 responses. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The date of performance completion is November 21, 2010. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM1C1-09-D-0003).
 
            Stryker Orthopaedics, Mahwah, N.J. is being awarded a maximum $28,433,275 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for medical equipment. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, federal civilian agencies and Veterans Administration. There were originally 45 proposals solicited with 22 responses. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The date of performance completion is November 20, 2013. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM2D1-09-D-8200).
 
NAVY
 
            Alutiiq Business Services, LLC, Anchorage, Alaska, is being awarded a $24,823,159 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for electronic security systems support for the National Guard Bureau and other government agencies. The contractor shall provide and manage personnel and equipment, to include matrix support to safeguard the National Guard Bureau, U.S. Government and other resident property, personnel, and information and assure continuity of each agency’s work effort. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., and is expected to be completed by November 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-09-C-0011).
 
            Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Global Sustainment, Greenville, S.C., is being awarded a $22,905,781 not-to-exceed modification to a previously awarded indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity multiple award contract (N00019-05-D-0013) to exercise an option for the Zone 5 critical airframe structures replacement for 4 P-3C aircraft. Work will be performed in Greenville, S.C., and is expected to be completed in January 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
 
            McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $21,327,245 not-to-exceed modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-06-D-0007) to exercise an option for AV-8B Harrier post production support services, including engineering analysis, testing and evaluations, effectiveness evaluations, configuration management support, and logistics support. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. and is expected to be completed in November 2009. Contract funds in the amount of $8,652,464 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
