NAVY

Lockheed Missiles & Space Company, Inc., Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a $851,669,573 cost-plus-incentive-fee/cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for FY 95 Trident (D5) missile production and deployed system support for the U.S. Navy and the United Kingdom. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, California (70%), Kings Bay, Georgia (20%), Bremerton, Washington (9%), and Charleston, South Carolina (1%), and is expected to be completed by September 1998. Contract funds in the amount of $283,623,191 would have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (97.5%), and the government of the United Kingdom (2.5%). The Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-95-C-0095).

Hercules Aerospace Company, Magna, Utah, is being awarded a $5,044,383 contract for MK 125 Mod 0 empty warhead assemblies in support of the Standard Missile-2 (SM-2) Program. Work will be performed in Magna, Utah, and is expected to be completed by April 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (89%), and the government of Japan (11%), under the Foreign Military Sales Program (FMS). This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-95-C-5301).

AeroThrust Corporation, Miami, Florida, is being awarded a $13,260,305 fixed-price requirements type contract for JT8D engine depot maintenance for the Navy and Air Force C-9/DC-9 aircraft. Work will be performed in Miami, Florida, and is expected to be completed by February 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under a Request for Proposals and four offers were received. The Naval Aviation Depot Operations Center, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N68520-95-D-0002).

AIR FORCE

Hughes Training Systems, Incorporated, Arlington, Texas, is being awarded a $17,642,057 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract for FY 1995 operation, maintenance and support of the Air Training System for the C-141 aircraft. The work will be performed at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma (45%) and at various other installations in the continental United States where C-141 aircraft are based. Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-89-C-0039, P00065).

Hughes Aircraft Company, Ground Systems Group, Fullerton, California, is being awarded a $46,969,602 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive-firm contract for Over Target Baseline funding for development of the ground based segment of the Integrated Command, Control and Communication System for the Royal Saudi Air Force. Contract is expected to be completed January 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Saudi Arabia. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (F19628-91-C-0124, P00099).

Loral Aerospace Corporation, Loral Space and Range Systems, Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a $14,900,631 cost-plus-award-fee contract. This contract is in support of operations and maintenance support for the National Test Facility, Falcon Air Force Base, Colorado from 1 December 1994 through 31 January 1996. Contract is expected to be completed January 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Four hundred and seventeen bids were solicited and seven proposals were received. The solicitation was issued February 1994 and negotiations were completed September 1994. The 21st Contracting Squadron, Colorado Springs, Colorado, is the contracting activity (F05604-95-C-9001).

TRW, Incorporated, Redondo Beach, California, is being awarded a $138,749,261 (Maximum) cost-plus-award-fee contract. This contract provides for research and development for the National Test Facility, Falcon Air Force Base, Colorado from 1 December 1994 through 31 January 2000. Contract is expected to be completed January 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Four hundred and seventeen bids were solicited and five proposals were received. The solicitation was issued February 1994 and negotiations were completed September 1994.
