ARMY

McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, Mesa, Arizona, was awarded on December 12, 1994, a $41,500,000 firm fixed price contract for termination liability funding for advanced procurement of long lead time items in support of Lot 1 production for the AH-64D Longbow Apache. Work will be performed in Mesa, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by November 30, 1994. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

North American MORPHO Systems, Incorporated, Tacoma, Washington, is being awarded a $30,000,000 increment as part of a $37,485,826 fixed price contract for conversion of the FBI's fingerprint card master file (35 million cards) to digital media. These converted files will form the database for computer assisted matching and identification under the FBI's Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS). Work will be performed in Martinsburg**, West Virginia, and is expected to be completed by May 9, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 240 bids solicited on December 30, 1993, and 3 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk, Virginia (DACW65-95-C-0039).

AIR FORCE

CFM International, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded an $80,300,016 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract for 24 CFM56 engines for the KC-135 aircraft. The work will be performed at Cincinnati, Ohio (51%) and Paris Cedex 15, France (49%). Contract is expected to be completed November 1996. Contract funds of $66,916,680 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F34601-94-D-0976-0001).

McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $9,789,916 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for update of the Operational Flight Program (OFP) applicable to the F-15 aircraft. The OFP is a software package which evaluates the condition of the computerized components of the aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was solicited and one proposal was received. The solicitation was issued July 1994 and negotiations were completed November 1994. The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (F09603-93-G-0002-0020).
