ARMY
Whitesell Green, Incorporated, Pensacola, Florida is being awarded an
$8,737,000 fixed price contract for a Special Operations Facility MH-60
Helicopter Hangar and Squadron Operations Facility MH-60G.
Effort includes
48,660 square feet of hangar area.
Approximately 17,600 square feet of the
total area is required for support/shop and administrative areas.
The project
scope includes a fuel servicing area; landscaping; air field taxiway and
aircraft parking apron; upgrade apron and taxiway lighting; fencing; roadway
and POV parking; AFFF fire protection in hangar; fire sprinkler in
administrative and shop areas; and an overhead 5 ton crane.
The squad facility
project scope consists of an approximately 15,000 square foot one-story
building.
Spaces for this facility include offices, planning rooms, section
areas, squadron supply storage and life support functions.
Work will be
performed at Hurlburt Field, Florida and is expected to be completed by March
21, 1996.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.
There were 87 bids solicited on August 9, 1994, and 5 bids received.

AIR FORCE
TurboCombustor Technology Incorporated, Stuart, Florida, is being awarded a
$19,338,057 (Estimated) firm fixed price requirements contract.
This action
provides for 221 (best estimated quantity) flameholders for the F100 series of
engines applicable to the F-15 aircraft.
Contract is expected to be completed
December 1996.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.

NAVY
Contraves USA, Incorporated, Tampa, Florida, is being awarded a $5,663,903
firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of fifteen M1A2 maintenance
trainers, training, and technical data.
Work will be performed in Tampa,
Florida, and is expected to be completed in January 1997.
Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

Hughes Aircraft Company, Aerospace and Defense Sector, Fullerton, California,
is being awarded a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
contract with an estimated value of $9,374,000 for the procurement of radar
processors and spares for use in the U.S. Coast Guard's vessel tracking system.
Work will be performed in Fullerton, California, and is expected to be
completed in December 1999.
Contract funds in the amount of $459,680 would
have expired at the end of the current fiscal year.

competitively procured by a request for proposals and four proposals were
received.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River,
Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00421-95-D-1039).
Unisys Corporation, Great Neck, New York and Clearwater, Florida is being
awarded a modification in the amount of $6,577,000.
The revised total value of
the contract will be $119.946,775.
Work will be performed in Great Neck, New
York (65 percent) and Clearwater, Florida (35 percent).
This modification will
provide one shipset of common navigation hardware; plus repair of the US/UK
Trident II (D5) equipment.
Additionally, priced options will be added to the
contract that, if elected, would provide for installation of four navigation
suites onboard SSBNs.
Contract funds in the amount of $1,607,000 would have
expired at the end of the current fiscal year.
Work is expected to be
completed in December 1997.
