ARMY

            Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., was awarded on May 23 a $207,133,531 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the procurement of 15 UH-60M aircraft for the Sweden’s armed forces and government furnished equipment to contractor furnished equipment.  Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2012.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, AMCOM Contracting Center, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-08-C-0003).

            Oshkosh Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., was awarded on May 20 a $97,146,579 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the procurement of 177 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicles installed with underbody improvements kits.  Work will be performed in McConnelsburg, Penn.; Milwaukee, Wis.; and Oshkosh, Wis., with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2011.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army TACOM LCMC, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-09-D-0111).

NAVY

            L-3 Communications Corp., dba L-3 Communications Integrated Systems - Waco Platform Integration Division, Waco, Texas, is being awarded a $104,059,653 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for services in support of the P-3, EP-3, and NP-3 sustainment modification and installation program.  This effort includes planned maintenance interval, structural replacement and fabrication efforts pertaining to special structural inspection kits, center wing assemblies, Zone 5 kits, and outer wing installations and refurbishments.  Work will be performed in Waco, Texas, and is expected to be completed in May 2012.  Contract funds in the amount of $4,105,717 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via an electronic request for proposals, with two offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activities (N00019-11-D-0017).

            TCOM LP*, Columbia, Md., is being awarded a $41,221,670 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the procurement of a prototype of the 22M Aerostat System in support of the Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems for the Department of Defense.  In addition the contract provides for technical support personnel for 22M systems outside the continental U.S., training, and prototype payload integration and test support.  Work will be performed in Elizabeth City, N.C. (45 percent); Columbia, Md. (45 percent); and Afghanistan (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in May 2014.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via a broad agency announcement, with 59 offers received.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-11-C-0007).

U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND

            The Boeing Co., Philadelphia, Pa., is being awarded a maximum value $95,400,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering support services in support of U.S. Special Operations Command.  The work will be performed in Philadelphia and is expected to be completed by May 24, 2016.  This contract was awarded as a sole-source after approval of a justification and approval document as an exception to full and open competition under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1.  Technology Applications Contracting Office is the contracting activity (H92241-11-D-0001).

            Amidon Contracting Solutions, Youngsville, N.C., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price contract in the amount of $8,064,508.94 for a base year and four one-year option periods for range support to the U.S. Army Special Operations Command.  The work will be performed primarily in Fort Bragg, N.C., and surrounding areas under the direction of the government installation range officer.  The last option year will expire in May 2016.  U.S. Army Special Operations Command is the contracting activity (H92239-10-C-0003).

AIR FORCE

            The Boeing Co., Seal Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $16,151,151 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification to the existing Boeing IIF sustainment contract for the Global Positioning System.  This contract will provide fiscal 2011 funding for four sustainment contract line item numbers, to include contractor software maintenance, contract hardware maintenance, sustainment, and sustainment engineering.  It will also provide fiscal 2011 funding to support proposal preparation.  Boeing will provide personnel and infrastructure, including supplies and services, to specifically perform software maintenance, hardware maintenance, sustainment engineering support and proposal preparation.  SMC/GPK, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (FO4701-96-C-0025; PO0776).

            CEMS Engineering, Ladson, S.C., is being awarded an $8,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for architectural and engineering services at several Air Combat Command installations across the United States.  AMIC/PKA, Newport News, Va., is the contracting activity (FA4890-11-D-0001).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

            Science Application International Corp., Fairfield, N.J., was issued a modification exercising the sixth option year on the current contract SPM500-04-D-BP06/P00028.  Award is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, maintenance, repair, and operations contract with a maximum $60,000,000 for supplies.  There are no other locations of performance.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.  The date of performance completion is May 30, 2012.  The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
