AIR FORCE

General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $37,666,180 Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for ten F110-GE-129 engines applicable to the F-16D aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This supports foreign military sales to Turkey. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity (F33657-94/D-2000, Order 0009).

McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, Saint Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $7,696,545 Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for development of modeling and simulation tools in support of the Joint Advanced Strike Technology (JAST) program. Thirty per cent of the work will be performed at Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Bethpage, New York. Contract is expected to be completed December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Six proposals were received. The solicitation was issued in January 1995 and negotiations were completed in April 1995. Wright Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity (F33615-95/C-5539).

Intera, Incorporated, Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $9,000,000 Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for Environment Quality Research and Development of computer models to describe the fate and transport of contaminants. Contract is expected to be completed May 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Two hundred and forty-seven bids were solicited and 29 proposals were received. The solicitation was issued in July 1994 and negotiations were completed in February 1995. Acurex Environmental Corporation, Mountain View, California, is being awarded a $15,000,000 Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for Environment Quality Research and Development of chemical and physical methods of treating waste in industrial processes. Contract is expected

to be completed May 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio, is being awarded a $38,000,000 Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for Environmental Quality Research and Development into environmental remediation through biotechnologies and chemical and physical technologies. Contract is expected to be completed May 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Two hundred and forty-seven bids were solicited and 29 proposals were received. Mission Research Corporation, Santa Barbara, California, is being awarded a $8,000,000 Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for Environment Quality Research and Development of environmental sensors for detecting and monitoring contaminants. Contract is expected to be completed May 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Two hundred and forty-seven bids were solicited and 29 proposals were received. TRW, Space and Technology Division, Redondo Beach, California, is being awarded a $22,298,758 face value increase to a Fixed Price contract for the construction, payload integration and launch of the Space test and Experiment Platform Mission 4 Space Vehicle in support of the Tri-Service Space Experiments Mission. The work will be performed at TRW Space & Technology Division in Chantilly, Virginia. Contract is expected to be completed June 1997. ARMY

Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford, Connecticut, was awarded on April 28, 1995, a $9,093,218 modification to a firm fixed price contract to exercise an option for 2 Black Hawk helicopters for the government of Columbia. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 28, 1992. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-92-C-0004).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Aqua-Marine Constructors, Incorporated*, Portland, Oregon, is being awarded a $500,000 increment as part of a $6,087,500 firm fixed price contract for construction of 1,865 feet of rubblemound breakwater between Near and Gull Islands, including a 20 foot gap adjacent to Near Island for an entrance channel, a 100 foot breakwater just west of the harbor's north entrance channel, and widening the north entrance channel to 100 feet and deepening this channel to 12 beet below mean low low water. Work will be performed in Kodiak, Alaska, and is expected to be completed by September 27, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 39 bids solicited on March 7, 1995, and 7 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Anchorage, Alaska (DACW85-95-C-0017).

NAVY

Baldi Brothers, Constructors*, Beaumont, California, is being awarded a $5,629,000 firm-fixed price contract for construction of a multi-purpose training range at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and is expected to be completed by November 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 95 offers solicited and 11 proposals received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N62470-95-B-5035).

General Atomics, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $7,715,232 cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for the development and demonstration of a compact, self-contained shipboard Hydrothermal Oxidation (HTO) unit for Navy Shipboard Excess Hazardous Materials (NSEHM). Work will be performed in San Diego, California (80%), Norfolk, Virginia (6%) and Austin, Texas (14%), and is expected to be completed by October 1997. Contract funds in the amount of $3,008,335 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under an Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) Broad Agency Announcement and 12 proposals were received.
