AIR FORCE
Raytheon Company, Geleta, California, is being awarded a $105,766,000 Firm
Fixed Price contract for 82 AN/ALQ-184 electronic attack pods, six AN/ALM-233
automated support equipment packages applicable thereto, and associated
software development and data. Contract is expected to be completed December
1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
One bid was solicited and one proposal was received. The solicitation was
issued in February 1995 and negotiations were complete in May 1995. This
supports foreign military sales to Taiwan. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center,

GTE Government Systems Corporation, El Segundo, California, is being awarded a
$44,965,974 face value increase to a Firm Fixed Price contract for contractor
logistics support for the AN/GYQ-50(V) Intelligence Host Processing System.
Contract is expected to be completed May 1998. Contract funds will not expire

Martin Marietta Electronics and Missiles, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded a
$33,000,000 face value increase to a Firm Fixed Price contract extends long
lead funding for 18 Sharpshooter pods and 18 Navigation pods applicable to the
Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) system for
the F-16 aircraft, along with associated spares and support equipment.
Contract is expected to be completed October 1995. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign
military sales to Egypt. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air

Caddell Construction Company, Montgomery, Alabama, is being awarded a
$5,213,000 Firm Fixed Price contract for design and construction of 45 units of
military family housing at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. Contract is

eight bids were solicited and two proposals were received. The solicitation was
issued in November 1994 and negotiations were completed in April 1995 The 325th
Contracting Squadron, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida is the contracting
activity (F08637-95/C6031).
The Air Force is entering into a cooperative agreement with the Rapid Object
Application Development Consortium, in care of Andersen Consulting LLP,
Chicago, Illinois, the total value of the contract is $24,519,553. The
Government's share of this totals $9,484,087. This Cooperative Agreement will
develop a battle management system and a factory work center management systems
employing reusable software components which will reduce the effort required to
field new software application. The work will be performed at Andersen
Consulting LLP, Chicago, Illinois (57%) and at Expersoft, San Diego, California
(28%). The work is expected to be completed May 1997. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued in
May 1994 and negotiations were completed in May 1995 Rome Laboratory, Griffis
Air Force Base, New York is the contracting activity (F30602-95-0005).
ARPA
Cray Research, Incorporated, Mendota Heights, Minnesota, was awarded on May
11, 1995, a $6,500,000 modification to a firm fixed price contract for
evaluation of an early high performance computing prototype, including early
experimental use, to provide the feedback for enhancements. Work will be
performed in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and is expected to be completed by
August 31, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There was a broad agency announcement in July, 1992, and 155 bids
were received. The contracting activity is the Advanced Research Projects
Agency, Arlington, Virginia (MDA972-93-C-0058).
NAVY
Spaceflight Systems Corporation, Bedford, New Hampshire, is being awarded a
$5,916,639 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for hardware and software maintenance
for an Onboard Processor (OBP). Work will be performed in Bedford, New
Hampshire, and is expected to be completed by May 1998. Contract funds in the
amount of $440,246 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was competitively procured under a Request for Proposals (RFP) and 25
offers were received. The Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, D.C., is the
contracting activity (N00014-95-C-2120).
McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, McDonnell Douglas Corporation, St. Louis,
Missouri, is being awarded a $4,760,290 firm-fixed-price (base-year) contract
for the FY 95/96 foreign comparative testing of Russian M-31 Aerial Targets to
fulfill the mission requirements of the Supersonic Sea Skimming Target (SSST).
This contract contains options, which if exercised,

will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed by
