DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
 

US Foods Inc. Severn, Maryland, has been awarded a maximum $72,800,000 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for prime vendor food and beverage support. This was a competitive acquisition, and five offers were received. This is a two-year base contract with one one-year option period. The location of performance is Maryland, with a Jan. 28, 2017 performance completion date. The using military services are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. The type of appropriation is fiscal year 2015 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE300-15-D-3120).
 

ARMY


L-3 Communications Corp., Madison, Mississippi, was awarded a $60,320,578 modification (P00143) to contract W58RGZ-10-C-0107 to support maintenance for the Army’s fleet of C-12/RC-12/UC-35 fixed wing aircraft. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $60,320,578 were obligated at the time of the award. Estimated completion date is July 31, 2015. Work will be performed in Madison, Mississippi. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama is the contracting activity.
 

NAVY
 

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $60,377,364 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the procurement of six low rate initial production Infrared Search and Track (IRST) systems for the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. The IRST system is a long wave infrared detection system that targets airborne vehicles in a radar-denied environment. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida (50 percent); St. Louis, Missouri (38 percent); Santa Ana, California (7 percent) and Irvine, California (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in August 2017. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR.6.302-1. Fiscal 2015 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $60,377,364 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00019-15-C-0036).
 

General Electric Co., Lynn, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $28,997,331 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-13-C-0132) for the procurement of six T408-GE-400 (GE38-1B) System Demonstration Test Article engines in support of the CH-53K helicopter program. Work will be performed in South Windsor, Connecticut (17 percent); Lynn, Massachusetts (15 percent), Evendale, Ohio (12 percent), Munich, Germany (9 percent), Whitehall, Michigan (8 percent), Madisonville, Kentucky (8 percent); Santa Fe Springs, California (5 percent); Park City, Utah (5 percent); Hooksett, New Hampshire (4 percent); Jacksonville, Florida (3 percent); Ft. Wayne, Indiana (3 percent); Houston, Texas (2 percent); Kulpsville, Pennsylvania (2 percent); and various locations within the continental United States (7 percent), and is expected to be completed in January 2017. Fiscal 2015 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $525,000 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.


Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training, Liverpool, New York, is being awarded a $7,904,978 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-14-C-6227) to exercise options for the production of two Low Cost Conformal Array (LCCA) production units, spare modules and spare outboard electronics canisters. The LCCA is a passive planar array mounted on the aft submarine sail structure that is integrated with the Acoustic Rapid COTS Insertion AN/BQQ-25 system to provide situational awareness and collision avoidance for improved tactical control in high density environments. Work will be performed in Syracuse, New York (90 percent), Marion, Massachusetts (8 percent), and Owego, New York (2 percent) and is expected to be completed by January 2017. Fiscal 2015 other procurement (Navy) contract funds in the amount of amount of $7,904,978 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington D.C., is the contracting activity.
