AIR FORCE

Cubic Defense Systems, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $21,072,478 Firm Fixed Price contract for the Kadena Interim Training System that will provide an Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation capability in airborne pods for use by three squadrons of F-15s at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Contract is expected to be completed September 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Eighteen bids were solicited and five proposals were received. Solicitation began January 1995 and negotiations were completed in May 1995. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida is the contracting activity (F08626-95/C-0107).

Lockheed Fort Worth Company, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $28,883,0751 face value increase to a Firm Fixed Price contract for restructuring the Peace Gate III/IV foreign military sales program to Pakistan from 71 to 28 F-16 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Pakistan. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity (F336576-90/C-2002, P00240).

Lockheed Fort Worth Company, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $123,140,964 Firm Fixed Price contract for 12 F-16C aircraft and associated alternate mission equipment for the U.S. Air Force. Contract is expected to be completed February 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Solicitation began in July 1993 and negotiations were complete April 1995. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity (F33657-93/C-2374).

NAVY

Todd Pacific Shipyards Corporation, Seattle Division, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $6,691,047 firm-fixed-price job order contract for the drydocking Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) of USS Rainier (AOE 7). Work will be performed in Seattle, Washington,

and is expected to be completed by September 1995. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with three proposals solicited and two offers received. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, Puget Sound, Washington, is the contracting activity (N00024-92-H-8028).

Digital System Resources, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,424,565 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-6522 for enhanced functionality of the Multi-Purpose Processor installed in submarine combat systems. Work will be performed in Fairfax, Virginia (80%), and Manassas, Virginia (20%), and is expected to be completed by May 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $28,145,004 firm-fixed-price contract for BQM-34S aerial targets for the Navy Aerial Targets Program Management Office. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-94-C-0087).

ARMY

Mason & Hanger - Silas Mason Company, Lexington, Kentucky, was awarded on

June 2, 1995, a $9,240,000 firm fixed price contract for defense conversion efforts under the Armament Retooling and Manufacturing Support Act, reutilization of the Army's core competencies, facilities, equipment, and critical skills will be used to produce air bag components. Work will be performed at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, Middletown, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by January 30, 1996. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 10, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-94-G-0001).

Modern Technologies Corporation, Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a time and materials requirement type contract with a cumulative total of $36,451,712 for health physics support services. The health physics contract will allow the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) C4IEW Acquisition Center and Department of the Army Activities to

implement BRAC directed facility closures and ensure that they comply with all U.S. Nuclear Regulatory requirements for radioactive materials. Work will be performed at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (45%), various locations in the Continental United States (50%), and various locations outside the Continental United States (5%), and is expected to be completed by

June 6, 2000. Funding will be accomplished by individual delivery orders. There was an announcement on CECOM's electronic bulletin board on February 27, 1995, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-95-D-H007).
