ARMY

Bell Helicopter Textron, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded an $11,901,135 modification to a firm fixed price contract for services required to retrofit 38 OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters into the fully armed Kiowa Warrior configuration. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on November 15, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-95-C-0071).

ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY

Photonics Imaging*, Division of Photonics Systems, Incorporated, Northwood, Ohio, is being awarded a $6,000,000 increment as part of a $10,963,926 modification to a $17,140,231 cost plus fixed fee contract to develop 2-Megapixel 32-inch workstation monitors (high designation systems) . Work will be performed in Northwood, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by June 22, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a broad agency announcement in the Commerce Business Daily on January 24, 1991, and 142 bids were received. The contracting activity is the Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Virginia (MDA972-92-C-0018).

NAVY

Kollsman Division of Sequa Corporation, Merrimack, New Hampshire, is being awarded a $36,205,272 firm-fixed-price contract for 44 night targeting systems for AH-1W helicopters for the U.S. Marine Corps. Work will be performed in Merrimack, New Hampshire, and is expected to be completed by June 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-95-C-0211). Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydock Corp., Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded a $19,072,297 firm-fixed-price contract for the drydocking, repair, overhaul and upgrade of the U.S. Navy's ammunition ship USNS FLINT (AE 32). Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and the contract performance period is 300 days. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract contains an option, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $25,800,000. This contract was competitively procured with 33 proposals solicited and nine offers received. The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, Central Technical Activity, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62387-95-C-3072).

AIR FORCE

ANSTEC Incorporated, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded a $47,536,847 face value increase to a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for a maximum of 157 Base Information Digital Distribution System Management Subsystems (BMS). Contract is expected to be completed September 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. 129 bids were solicited and two proposals were received. The solicitation was issued in November 1994 and negotiations were completed in May 1995. The Communications Systems Program Office (AFMC) Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, is the contracting activity (F11624-95-D-0005).

GTE Government Systems Corporation, El Segundo, California, is being awarded $140,823,868 (estimated) Firm-Fixed-Price contract for FY 1996 contractor logistics support for the AN/GYQ-21(V) Intelligence Data Handling System. Contract is expected to be completed September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued in July 1990 and proposals were received in August 1991. The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC) Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (F09603-91-D-0999-P00009).

Lockheed Fort Worth Company, Fort Worth, Texas is being awarded $5,617,411 Firm-Fixed-Price contract for technical orders in support of 40 F-16 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Negotiations were completed in April 1995. This efforts supports foreign military sales (FMS) to Greece. The Headquarters Air Force Material Command, Write Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-90-C-2002).

Martin Marietta Services, Incorporated, New Jersey, is being awarded a $155,996,844 face value increase to a Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee contract for operation, maintenance, and logistics and training support for the Air Force Satellite Control Network for FY 1996. Contract is expected to be completed September 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fifty-two bids were solicited and four proposals were received. The solicitation was issued in October 1994 and negotiations were completed in April 1995. The 50th Space Wing (AFSPC) Falcon Air Force Base, Colorado, is the contracting activity (FA2550-95-C-0003).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Caltex Oil Products Company, Irving, Texas, is being awarded a $7,659,460 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for commercial marine gas oil and intermediate fuel oil. One hundred eighty-seven proposals were submitted and twenty-six were received. Work will be performed in overseas locations and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1997. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Alexandria, Virginia, is the contracting activity (SPO600-95-D-0032).
