ARMY
General Dynamics Land Systems, Incorporated, Sterling Heights, Michigan, was
awarded on June 30, 1995, a $7,294,729 increment as part of a $25,741,635
modification to a $32,137,929 cost plus fixed fee contract for integration of
the Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared (CEN II FLIT) sights into the
Abrams M1A2 Tank. Work will be performed in Warren, Michigan, and is expected
to be completed by January 31, 1999. Of the total contract funds, $5,694,729
will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source
contract initiated on November 23, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S.

United Information Systems, Incorporated*, Bethesda, Maryland, is being
awarded a $5,450,588 cost plus fixed fee contract for a scientific peer review
of breast cancer and Defense women's health research proposals. Work will be
performed in Bethesda, Maryland (50%), and Fort Detrick, Maryland (50%), and is
expected to be completed by June 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There were 52 bids solicited on April 11,

NAVY
Loral Federal Systems, Manassas, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,294,061
modification to previously awarded contract N00019-91-C-0207 to design,
develop, fabricate and deliver Phase II wafer lots. This x-ray technology will
be used to produce microchips for use in various electronic Navy systems. Work
will be performed in East Fishkill, New York (70%), and Manassas, Virginia
(30%), and is expected to be completed by November 1995. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems

Alliant Techsystems, Inc., New Brighton, Minnesota, is being awarded a
$6,561,555 firm-fixed-price contract for 2,500 first article quantity and
313,500 production quantity 25mm PGU-32/U semi-armor piercing high explosion
incendiary-tracer (SAPHEI-T) cartridges. This contract contains options, which
if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to
$17,900,451. Work will be performed in New Brighton, Minnesota (60%), Joliet,
Illinois (30%), and Toone, Tennessee (10%), and is expected to be completed by
December 1996. Contract funds in the amount of $6,561,555 will expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a

Raytheon Company, Missile Systems Division, Bedford, Massachusetts, is being
awarded a $5,473,054 modification to previously awarded contract
N00019-93-C-0169 for 820 Sidewinder AIM-9M-8/9 retrofit guidance control
sections for the U.S. Air Force. Work will be performed in Andover,
Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by October 1996. Contract funds
