NAVY
STANDARD Missile Company, Falls Church, Virginia, is being awarded a
$79,496,460 letter contract for production of 243 STANDARD Missile - 2, BLK
III/IIIA all-up rounds for fiscal year 1995 and section level spares,
miscellaneous spares, shipping containers, AN/DKT-53B telemeters, and
provisioning technical documentation for the U.S. Navy (63%) and the government
of Japan (37%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be
performed in Tucson, Arizona (62%), Bristol, Tennessee (25%), Chattanooga,
Tennessee (7%), and Falls Church, Virginia (6%), and is expected to be
completed by March 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval
Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity
(N00024-96-C-5304).
