DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Midstream Fuel Service Inc., Mobile, Alabama, is being awarded a $7,394,810 fixed price with economic adjustment contract for marine gas oil and navy distillate fuel. Three hundred forty two proposals were solicited and seventeen were received. Work will be performed in Mobile, Alabama and Pascagoula, Mississippi and expected to be completed by January 30, 1998. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia is the contracting activity (SP0600-96-D-0014).

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Training Systems, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $8,377,350 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract for FY1996 operation and maintenance of the Aircrew Training System for the C-17 aircraft. The work will be performed at the contractor's facilities in St. Louis, MO (5%) as well as the site of the C-17 ATS equipment at Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina (28%) and Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma (67%). Contract is expected to be completed September 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F33657-88/C-0029, P00060).

Information Technology and Application Corporation, Colorado Springs, Colorado, is being awarded a $68,180,000 cost plus award fee contract for engineering and technical services to improve the ability of combat forces to utilize space and national systems. Contract is expected to be completed September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 110 firms solicited and 4 proposals received. Solicitation began April 1995 and negotiations were complete October 1995. The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, is the contracting activity (F05604-96/D-9002).

BETAC, Colorado Springs, Colorado, is being awarded a $61,910,000 cost plus award fee contract for engineering and technical services to improve the ability of combat forces to utilize space and national systems. Contract is expected to be completed September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 110 firms solicited and 4 proposals received. Solicitation began April 1995 and negotiations were complete October 1995. The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, is the contracting activity (F05604-96/D-9001).

Spectrum Astro, Incorporated, Gilbert, Arizona, is being awarded a $13,044,658 cost plus award fee contract for three experiment bus components and integration support for the MightySat experiment platform. The work will be performed at Spectrum Astro, Incorporated, Gilbert, Arizona. Contract is expected to be completed December 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 65 firms solicited and 5 proposals received. Solicitation began June 1995 and negotiations were complete October 1995. Phillips Laboratory, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, is the contracting activity (F29601-96/C 0005).

NAVY

Hughes Radar Systems, El Segundo, California, is being awarded a $11,000,000 ceiling price order contract for the purchase of radar spares in support of the F-14 aircraft. Work will be performed in El Segundo, California, and is expected to be completed by November 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (N00383-94-G-B501-0026).

Raytheon Electromagnetics Systems Division Company, Goleta, California, is being awarded a $7,808,902 firm-fixed-price contract for materials and the restoration of three AN/SLQ-32-V countermeasure sets. Work will be performed in Goleta, California, and is expected to be completed by December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-96-C-5409).

SYSCON Corporation, Washington, D.C., is being awarded a $5,736,491 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-94-C-6408) for technical engineering services for manpower, personnel, and training support for AEGIS combat systems. Work will be performed in Arlington, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by September 1996. Contract funds in the amount of $5,736,491 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Hughes Aircraft Mississippi, Incorporated, Forest, Mississippi, is being awarded a $7,015,334 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for engineering design, failure analysis, and logistics support services for various torpedo systems, including MK48 ADCAP, MODS, and Hybrid torpedoes. Work will be performed in Middletown, Rhode Island (90%), and Cleveland, Ohio (10%), and is expected to be completed by November 1998. Contract funds in the amount of $50,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 33 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, Rhode Island, is the contracting activity (N66604-96-D-A003).
