AIR FORCE

Serv-Air, Incorporated, Greenville, Texas, is being awarded a $5,062,671 costplus award fee contract for phase-in and civil engineering operation andmaintenance for Onizuka Air Station, California, and associated facilities fromJanuary through September 1996. Contract is expected to be completed September2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.There were 102 firms solicited and 5 proposals received. Texas Instruments, Incorporated, McKinney, Texas, is being awarded a$30,115,840 firm fixed price contract for the following in support of the GBU24/27 Paveway III laser guide bomb: 640 39/B Guidance Control Units, 640 84A/BAir Foil Groups, 6640 770/B Adapter groups, and associated data. Less than 1%of this effort supports foreign military sales to Canada. Contract is expectedto be completed September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. UNC Lear Siegler, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is being awarded a $19,294,128 facevalue increase to a firm fixed price contract for 419 Direct Manning Personnelto assist the Royal Saudi Air Force with operation, maintenance, and trainingrelated to their F-5 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed September1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.This effort support foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. San Antonio AirLogistics Center, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas is the contracting activity(F41608-95/C-1552).

CAE-Link Corporation, Binghampton, New York, is being awarded a $13,500,000face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to extend long lead fundingfor 2 Full Mission Trainers and 6 Unit Level Trainers in support of the WeaponSystem Trainer for the F-16 aircraft.

ARMY

McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, Mesa, Arizona, was awarded on December14, 1995, a $33,030,000 modification to a long lead time items/efforts and Lot1 production contract for the AH-64D Longbow Apache, Lot 1 production not toexceed, and Lot 2 long lead time efforts (Lot 1-18 A/C, Lot 2-24 A/C). Workwill be performed in Mesa, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by August31, 1997. There were 4 bids solicited on July 13, 1994, and 1 bid received.The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St.Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-95-C-A001).

Fabrico Dry Storage Systems*, Chicago, Illinois, is being awarded a $6,990,675firm fixed price contract for 230 controlled dry storage systems. Work will beperformed in Chicago, Illinois, and Tel Aviv, Israel, and is expected to becompleted by April 1, 1996. Contract funds will expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. There were 17 bids solicited on October 23, 1995, and 2bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions,and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-96-C-0012).

Texas Instruments, Lewisville, Texas, and Martin Marietta, Orlando, Florida, ajoint venture, is being awarded a $10,083,366 cost plus award fee contract forengineering services for the JAVELIN Missile System. The JAVELIN is a fire andforget antitank weapon system which consists of two major elements, the commandlaunch unit and the round. Work will be performed in Lewisville, Texas (70%),and Orlando, Florida (30%), and is expected to be completed by December 31,1996. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Thisis a sole source contract initiated on October 13, 1993. The contractingactivity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama(DAAH01-94-C-S112).

DEFENSE NUCLEAR AGENCY

Strachan & Henshaw, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded an $18,862,114 firmfixed price contract for 150 supercontainers in support of weapons of massdestruction dismantlement efforts in Russia. Work will be performed in theUnited Kingdom, and is expected to be completed by November 30, 1996. Contractfunds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 53bids solicited on September 8, 1995, and 2 bids received. The contractingactivity is the Defense Nuclear Agency, Washington, D.C. (DNA001-96-C-0033).

NAVY

Hughes Aircraft Company, El Segundo, California, is being awarded a $5,487,304fixed-price-incentive, multiple incentives on performance, schedule and costcontract for 12 inertial measurement unit electronics, and four electronicassemblies for the TRIDENT II (D5) missile MK-6 guidance system. Work will beperformed in El Segundo, California, and is expected to be completed bySeptember 1997. This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bringthe cumulative value of this contract to $23,168,635. Contract funds will notexpire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitivelyprocured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Navy'sStrategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity(N00030-95-C-0029).

Science Applications International Corporation, Software and SystemsDevelopment Division (SSDD), Company 5, San Diego, California, is being awardeda $49,774,400 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery-typecontract for research and development services for C3I systems, informationfusion, advanced concept development, and interoperability, in support of theAdvanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) Advanced Joint Planning AdvancedConcept Technology Demonstration (AJP ACTD). Work will be performed in SanDiego, California (59%), Cambridge, Massachusetts (16%), Westlake Village,California (15%), Fairfax, Virginia (6%), and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (4%),and is expected to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds in the amountof $1,900,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contractwas competitively procured by a broad agency announcement with one offerreceived. The Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center RDT&EDivision, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity(N66001-96-D-8607).

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded a $21,100,000ceiling priced modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-0251 forthe procurement of three LANTIRN FLIR Targeting Systems and non-recurringefforts associated with the F-14A, F-14B upgrade, and the F-14D aircraft. Workwill be performed in Orlando, Florida, and is expected to be completed by May1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Incorporated, Bethesda, Maryland, is being awarded a$6,046,591 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-88-C-6229 forsupport services for new construction, operational ships and facilities andTRIDENT UK design. The services are in the support of the Strategic SubmarineProgram Office. Work will be performed in Arlington, Virginia, and is expectedto be completed by September 1996.
