ARMY

Lockheed Martin, Electronics & Missiles, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded adelivery order amount of $725,000 as part of a not-to-exceed $7,112,962 firmfixed price/time and materials contract for FY96 program system support for theTarget Acquisition Designating System/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (TADS/PNVS).Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, and is expected to be completed bySeptember 30, 1996. This is a sole source contract initiated in August 1995.The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St.Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-92-C-0017).

Intellitec Division, Technical Products Group, DeLand, Florida, is beingawarded a $14,304,631 firm fixed price multi-year contract for 458 improvedchemical agent monitors (ICAMs), plus pre-production evaluation (PPE), firstarticle test (FAT) and initial provisioning spares. The ICAM is a portablehand-held chemical monitor that is capable of monitoring nerve agents andmustard agents utilizing ion mobility spectrometry (IMS). Work will beperformed in DeLand, Florida, and is expected to be completed by October 18,2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.There were 55 bids solicited on April 12, 1995, and 5 bids received. Thecontracting activity is the U.S. Army Chemical & Biological Defense Command,Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland (DAAM01-96-C-0001).

NAVY

Donohoe Construction Company, a division of the Donohoe Construction CompaniesIncorporated, Washington, D.C., is being awarded a $5,069,000 firm-fixed pricecontract for design/construction of a temporary lodging facility. Thiscontract provides for the design and construction of a 96-104 room temporarylodging facility at the Marine Corps Combat Development Center, Quantico,Virginia. Work will be performed in Quantico, Virginia, and is expected to becompleted by March 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 108proposals solicited and six offers received. The Naval Facilities EngineeringCommand, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity(N62470-94-C-4025).

RR & VO LLC, Rockville, Maryland, is being awarded a $14,340,847 time chartercontract for the 17-month charter of roll-on, roll-off/container ship MVBuffalo Soldier. This contract has options which, if exercised, would bringthe cumulative value of this contract to $40,436,542. MV Buffalo Soldier willcarry prepositioned equipment for the U.S. Air Force in the Indian Ocean andthe Mediterranean Sea. Contract funds will expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command Central TechnicalActivity is the contracting activity (N62387-96-C-1201).

Merlin Shipbuilding, Bethesda, Maryland, is being awarded a $14,469,535 timecharter contract for the 17-month charter of roll-on, roll-off/container shipMV American Merlin. This contract has options which, if exercised, would bringthe cumulative value of this contract to $40,306,605. MV American Merlin willcarry prepositioned equipment for the U.S. Air Force in the Indian Ocean andthe Mediterranean Sea. Contract funds will expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. AIR FORCE

Raytheon Service Company, Irvine, California, is being awarded a $9,000,000time and materials contract for repair of ten (best estimated quantity)antennae assemblies applicable to the AN/GPN-22 ground-based navigation radarsystem. Contract is expected to be completed June 1996. Contract funds willnot expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicitedand one proposal received. Solicitation began September 1995 and negotiationswere complete November 1995. Sacramento Air Logistics Center, McClellan AirForce Base, California is the contracting activity (F04606-96/D-0023).

Smiths Industries, Grand Rapids, Michigan, is being awarded a $5,634,060 firmfixed price contract for integration of the Dual Inertial Navigation Unit,Global Positioning System, Automatic Communication System, and MicrowaveLanding System into the Self Contained Navigation System on 7HC-130P/Naircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1997. Contract fundswill not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firmsolicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began May 1995 andnegotiations were complete November 1995. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center,Robins AFB, Georgia is the contracting activity (F09603-95/C-0872).
