ARMY

O'Gara Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Company*, Fairfield, Ohio, is being awardedan $11,407,738 modification to a firm fixed price $35,713,100 contract for 309XM1114 Up-Armor High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV). Work will beperformed in Fairfield, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by February 28,1997. Of the total contract funds, $11,407,738 will expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 29,1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and ArmamentsCommand, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-94-C-0406).

Freightliner Corporation, Portland, Oregon, is being awarded a $49,508,019firm fixed price contract for 269 M915 trucks and tractors, Family of Vehiclestesting and associated data requirements (a 250% vehicle option is included),for the Philippines. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wisconsin (60%), andPortland, Oregon (40%), and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2000.Of the total contract funds, $162,968 will expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 12, 1995. Thecontracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command,Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-96-C-X076).

NAVY

R. P. Richards, Incorporated, dba R. P. Richards Construction Company,Goleta, California, is being awarded a $5,655,000 firm-fixed-price contract forconstruction of a training facility. This contract will provide for theconstruction of a three-story steel frame and masonry structure at NavalTraining Center, Naval Station San Diego, California. Work will be performedin San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by October 1996.Contract funds are Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) and will not expire atthe end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procuredwith 350 proposals solicited and 12 offers received. The Naval FacilitiesEngineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, California, is thecontracting activity (N68711-94-C-1596).

Kay and Associates, Arlington Heights, Illinois, is being awarded a$22,528,076 indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery time-and-materials deliveryorder contract for aircraft maintenance services for various types of aircraftat the Naval Air Station, China Lake, California. This contract is for a basicperiod of three years with an additional 2 years for a maximum of 325,700manhours. This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring thecumulative value of this contract to $38,481,284. Work will be performed inChina Lake, California, and is expected to be completed by February 2001.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Thiscontract was competitively procured with 76 proposals solicited and threeoffers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake,California, is the contracting activity (N68936-96-D-0067).

Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Westinghouse Electronic Systems Division,Sykesville, Maryland, is being awarded a $8,217,082 modification to previouslyawarded contract N00024-92-C-6312 for the procurement of AN/SQS-89 design agentservices. Work will be performed in Sykesville, Maryland, and is expected tobe completed by May 1996. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., isthe contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Motorola, Incorporated, Scottsdale, Arizona, is being awarded a $7,576,290face value increase to a firm fixed price contract for 4863 33 A/B ProximitySensors and 180 dummy sensors applicable to the MK-80 and M-117 general purposebombs and to the Joint Direct Attack Munition. Contract is expected to becompleted July 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida is thecontracting activity (F08626-93/C-0004, P00011).
