AIR FORCE

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Wichita, Kansas, is being awarded a$74,800,0000 time and materials contract for engineering fleet support for the-135 series aircraft in varying configurations including cargo, tankers andspecialized reconnaissance platforms. Contract is expected to be completedDecember 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitationbegan July 1995 and negotiations were complete December 1995. Oklahoma City AirLogistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity(F34601-96/C-0111).

Lockheed Martin Astronautics, Denver, Colorado, is being awarded a $9,854,292face value increase to a cost plus award fee contract to exercise the pad-basedsupport equipment option and space launch option on the Multi-Service LaunchSystem (MSLS) contract. The MSLS program is used to store and refurbishretired Minuteman II ICBMs to provide suborbital and orbital launch capability.Contract is expected to be completed December 1997. Contract funds will notexpire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space ad Missile Systems Center,Los Angeles, California, is the contracting activity (F04704-92/C-0013,P00061).

Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a$12,919,868 time and materials contract to provide technical support unique toHughes Missile Systems Company for the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile(AMRAAM) production effort. Contract is expected to be completed December1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation beganSeptember 1995 and negotiations were complete December 1995. This effortsupports foreign military sales to Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Korea,Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. AeronauticalSystems Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity(F08626-95/C-0242).

General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $10,000,000face value increase to a cost plus award fee contract to provide a three monthextension to the calendar year

1995 contract for the Component Improvement Program (CIP) in support of theF-101, F-110, F-118 and J79 aircraft engines. These engines are used in theB-1, B-2, F-14 (U.S. Navy) and F-16

aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March 1996. Contract fundswill not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical SystemsCenter, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity(F33657-94/C-0028).

Raytheon Company, Marlborough, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $8,365,005face value increase to a time and material contract to provide calendar year1996 Special Analysis Tasks and Task Requirement Notice actions applicable tothe Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) Air Force Terminals. Contractis expected to be completed December 1996. Contract funds will not expire atthe end of the current fiscal year. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AirForce Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (F19628-85/C-0004,P00225).

Rockwell International Corporation, Downey, California, is beingawarded a $10,263,054 face value increase to a cost plus award fee contract toprovide a continuation of launch and orbital operations, repair of governmentproperty and sustaining support for the Global Positioning System Block II/IIAsatellite program. Contract is expected to be completed December 1996.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Spaceand Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is thecontracting activity (F047601-83/C-0031, P00285).

ARMY

Holston Defense Corporation, Kingsport, Tennessee, is being awarded a$9,031,639 modification to a cost plus fixed fee contract for 1,244,948 poundsof ammunition/explosives. Work will be performed at the Holston ArmyAmmunition Plant, Kingsport, Tennessee, and is expected to be completed byDecember 31, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on December 6, 1995.The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and ChemicalCommand, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-92-Z-0008).

Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems Division, Bedford, Massachusetts, isbeing awarded a $123,060,000 modification to a firm fixed price contract forPATRIOT Radar Enhancement Phase III into 16 PATRIOT Radars, and associatedspares. Work will be performed in Bedford, Massachusetts (38%), Waltham,Massachusetts (27%), Andover, Massachusetts (23%), and Torrence, California(12%), and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2000. Contract fundswill expire on June 30, 1999. This is a sole source contract initiated onSeptember 28, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command,Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-95-C-0446).

E-Systems, Incorporated, ECI Division, St. Petersburg, Florida, is beingawarded a $16,166,750 firm fixed price contract to fabricate, test and deliverlow rate initial production quantities of the Joint Tactical Terminal/HybridThree Channel Full Duplex (JTT/H3). The

quantity of JTT/H3 is 50. The JTT/H3 terminal provides the war fighter withnear real time

tactical intelligence and targeting information. Work will be performed in St.Petersburg,

Florida, and is expected to be completed by the end of fiscal year 1997. Ofthe total contract funds, $1,876,164 will expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 7, 1995. Thecontracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command,Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-C-S803).

TECOM/VINNELL Services, Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $136,716 incrementof a $22,000,000 cost plus award fee/firm fixed price contract (with apotential cumulative total of $120,121,980 plus award fee if all 4 one-yearoptions are exercised) for base installation support services for the U.S. ArmyGarrison. Work will be performed at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, and is expectedto be completed by September 30, 2000. Of the total contract funds, $136,716will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 10 bidssolicited on July 7, 1995, and 2 bids received. The contracting activity isthe U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey(DAAB07-96-C-H252).

NAVY

Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems Division, Sudbury, Massachusetts, isbeing awarded a $18,284,398 modification to previously awarded contractN00024-95-C-5434 for long lead materials for FY95 NATO SEASPARROW SurfaceMissile System production requirements. Work will be performed in Sudbury,Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by July 1998. This contractcombines purchases for the governments of Japan (49%), and South Korea (31%),under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program, and for members of the NATOSEASPARROW Consortium which includes the governments of Turkey (16%), Australia(3%), and Canada (1%). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval SeaSystems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity(N62470-94-C-4025).

Bath Iron Works Corporation, Bath, Maine, is being awarded a $13,713,042modification to previously awarded contract N00024-95-C-2804 for Planning YardServices for the DDG 51 AEGIS Class Destroyers. Work will be performed inBath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by September 1996. Contract fundsin the amount of $12,785,216 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Contract funds in the amount of $3,780,000 will

expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was notcompetitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., isthe contracting activity (N00024-96-C-6216).

General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $19,999,352firm-fixed-price contract for four LM2500 Marine Gas Turbine Modules. Workwill be performed in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is expected to be completed byNovember 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This contract was not competitively procured. This

contract provides for purchases for the government of Turkey under the ForeignMilitary Sales (FMS) Program. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia,Pennsylvania., is the contracting activity (N65540-96-C-0006).

Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems Division, Sudbury, Massachusetts, isbeing awarded a $11,452-835 modification to previously awarded letter contractN00024-94-C-5405 for FY95 NATO SEASPARROW JetVane Control Unit productionrequirements. Work will be performed in Andover, Massachusetts (60%),Huntsville, Alabama (30%), Sudbury, Massachusetts (5%), and Bedford,Massachusetts (5%), and is expected to be completed by January 1998. Thiscontract combines purchases for the governments of Japan (25%), and SouthKorea (21%), under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program, and for members ofthe NATO SEASPARROW Consortium which includes the governments of Canada, (33%),and Turkey (21%). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval SeaSystems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY

Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Incorporated, Cambridge, Massachusetts, isbeing awarded a $2,710,065 increment as part of an $18,933,229 cost and specialfixed fee contract for research and technology to advance the underlyingscience of maritime command and control and intelligence data collection,information assembly, and decision-making. Work will be performed inCambridge, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 1996.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Therewas a broad agency announcement on February 16, 1994, and 66 bids werereceived. The contracting activity is the Advanced Research Projects Agency,Arlington, Virginia (MDA972-95-C-0035).
