ARMY
David B. Lilly Company, Incorporated*, Delfasco of Tennessee Division,
Greeneville, Tennessee, is being awarded a $5,105,957 modification to a firm
fixed price contract to exercise the option for 399,840 BDU-33 practice bombs.
Work will be performed in Greeneville, Tennessee, and is expected to be
completed by July 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on December 18,
1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armaments, Munitions and
Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-95-C-0065).
McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, Mesa, Arizona, is being awarded a
$39,063,429 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 20 AH-64A Apache
helicopters and related support for the United Arab Emirates. Work will be
performed in Mesa, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by July 31, 1996.
Of the total contract funds, $7,457,401 will expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on December 20, 1993.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St.
Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-92-G-A001).
CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Aguatierra Associates, Incorporated dba Weiss Associates*, Emeryville,
California, is being awarded a $120,000 increment as part of a not-to-exceed
$6,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm fixed price contract
to provide miscellaneous engineering and environmental investigative services
within the South Pacific Division's boundaries for military and civil works.
Services may include preliminary assessment surveys; environmental assessments;
plans and reports; specialty plans and reports such as asbestos, lead-based
paint; monitoring well surveys and management plans and reports; intrusive
investigations; investigative derived waste sampling and disposal, human health
and environmental risk assessments; community relations plans; installation
restoration advisory board workshops;

environmental baseline surveys; graphical and geographic information systems;
general database management; and value engineering evaluations and technical
recommendations reports. The performance locations of this contract will be
federal hazardous toxic or radiological waste sites within the South Pacific
Division's boundaries for military and civil works (states of California, Utah,
Nevada, and Arizona). It is unknown at this time what percentage of work will
be performed at any particular location or the specific congressional district
affected. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 305 bids solicited on July 14, 1995, and 19 bids received.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento,
California (DACW05-96-D-0001).
NAVY
Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a
$47,125,000 firm-fixed-price maximum priced contract for production of the
Rolling Airframe Missile and
the procurement of 200 Guided Missile Round Packs (GMRPs). Work will be
performed in Tucson, Arizona (50%), and Riemerling, Germany (50%), and is
expected to be completed
by September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea
Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity
(N00024-96-C-5402).
Alliant Techsystems, Incorporated, Mukilteo, Washington, is being awarded a
$19,838,981 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development of
software to
enhance the capability to evaluate environmental acoustical conditions in
shallow ocean
waters. Work will be performed in Mukilteo, Washington (33%), and San Diego,
California (67%), and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract
funds in the amount
of $351,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract
was competitively procured under a broad agency announcement. The Naval
Research Laboratory, Stennis
Space Center, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, is the contracting activity
(N00014-96-C-6009).
