ARMY

Raytheon Company, Electronics Systems Division, Bedford, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $5,789,701 increment as part of a $13,503,254 cost plus incentive fee contract for PATRIOT technical publication support for the countries of: Israel, Japan, Serbia, Kuwait, Netherlands, and Taiwan. Work will be performed in Burlington, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by February 28, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on September 15, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-96-C-0132).

Southwest Mobile Systems Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $7,881,435 increment as part of a $15,762,870 letter contract modification to a $25,168,280 fixed price contract for 79 M1000 Heavy Equipment Transporter System Semitrailers (exercise of option). Work will be performed in West Plains**, Missouri, and is expected to be completed by November 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on September 7, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-96-C-X100).

AIR FORCE

On February 26, Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bethpage, New York, was awarded a $7,000,000 firm fixed price contract to provide for Night Vision Imaging Systems and associated spares for 120 A-10 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began February 1996; negotiations were complete June 1996. Sacramento Air Logistics Center, McClellan Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity (F04606-96/C-0056).

On February 27, Versar, Incorporated, Springfield, Virginia, was awarded a $49,200,000 firm fixed price contract to provide for environmental engineering services for the 88 Air Base Wing and the Aeronautical Systems Center Office of Environmental Management, both at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. These services will support environmental compliance, pollution prevention, environmental and land-use planning, and environmental engineering activities. Contract is expected to be completed September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 46 firms solicited. Solicitation began August 1995; negotiations were completed January 1996. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33601-96C-W004).

On February 27, Chrysler Technologies Airborne Systems Incorporated, Waco, Texas, was awarded a $33,800,000 firm fixed price contract to provide for approximately 40 repair line items applicable to 100 (best estimated quantity) C-141 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed February 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 17 firms solicited and 5 proposals received. Solicitation began August 1995; negotiations were complete January 1996. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (F096030-96/D-0089).

On February 27, Piquinq Management Corporation, Incorporated, Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded a $6,889,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for operation, maintenance, and support services at Eareckson Air Station, Alaska for the period

1 March 1996 through 28 February 1997. Contract is expected to be completed February 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The 3 Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, is the contracting activity (F65501-95/C-0015, P00022).

Sundstrand Aerospace, Rockford, Illinois, is being awarded a $7,556,425 cost-share contract for integration demonstration of key technologies for the Integrated Power Unit applicable to future developmental aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 19 firms solicited and 2 proposals received. Solicitation began June 1995; negotiations were complete January 1996. Wright Laboratories, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-95/C-2509).

Hughes Aircraft Company, Fullerton, California, is being awarded a $262,750,050 firm fixed price contract to provide for operations and maintenance and training support services to sustain the Peace Shield Nationwide Ground-Air Defense and Command, Control, Communications System. Contract is expected to be completed May 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. Science Applications International Corporation, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a $14,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for engineering services to develop descriptions and quantitative information required to support intelligence research, development, test and evaluation activities of the National Air Intelligence Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Contract is expected to be completed February 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 48 firms solicited and 2 proposals received. McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $14,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for engineering services to develop descriptions and quantitative information required to support intelligence research, development, test and evaluation activities of the National Air Intelligence Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Contract is expected to be completed February 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 48 firms solicited and 2 proposals received. Holmes and Narver Services, Incorporated, Orange, California, is being awarded a $20,294,962 firm fixed price contract to provide for demolition of 158 units of military family housing and construction of 158 new units of military family housing at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. Contract is expected to be completed February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. NAVY

Loral Electro-Optical Systems, Incorporated, Pasadena, California, is being awarded a $14,785,000 modification to previously awarded contract N61339-90-C-0142 for 62 Air-to-Ground Engagement Simulation II (AGES II) Apache devices. Work will be performed in Pomona, California (85%) and La Mesa, Mexico (15%), and is expected to be completed by March 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity.

Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $37,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for MK 49 Mod 0 Guided Missile Launching Systems (GMLS) for the Rolling Airframe Missile Program and procurement of eight GMLS and associated support equipment. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona (50%) and Riemerling, Germany (50%), and is expected to be completed by June 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
